Firstly , for the price the bed is decent , probably one of the top brands for an affordable canopy bed. You have the option to assemble it as a regular bed or 4 post canopy (which is what I wanted) . I opted for regular window curtains and it worked out well. The frame itself has not been squeaky and seems to be sturdy. I'm 5, 5 and 190 and so far it's holding up great. I don't flop around or sleep wildly so can't speak for everyone. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the difficulty of assembly, it wasn't complicated just tricky trying to complete alone especially since I have bad hips so the bending and putting together the bottom of the frame was hard. Sadly it took me about 3 days of breaking up the project and taking my good natured time. It was ultimately worth it as I'm super satisfied with the end product! The box was well packaged and not overly heavy at about 70 pounds. I got the queen size and so far enjoying it ... show more

I’ve had this bed a few months now. I kinda had a strange situation and had to move into a brand new apartment with very little money. This bed frame and my mattress are the only two things I bought new for myself furniture wise for the place, and I really really wanted a canopy bed. I found this one and fell in love, so I bought it. Shipping time was great, and it only took me about an hour to put together (that being said, I’ve built a lot of cheap metal bed frames in my time on this earth, so I was just kind of going through the motions. I wouldn’t say the instructions are super helpful) it does have a bit of a creak when I move around a lot, but nothing too crazy. I’m using a 12 inch memory foam mattress (also from amazon) on it with no box spring or extra support on the slats and it’s holding up wonderfully. I went ahead and got a 4 corner mosquito net on here as well and cut off the corners to drape it over the top and tied them back around the posts and it looks beautiful. My hair does sometimes get caught around the metal detailing on the headboard part though which kinda sucks. If it ever breaks I’ll edit my review but for now I love it. ... show more

I grew up with a metal bedframe from childhood which lasted me 20 years, but it required a boxspring. Its frame on the sides eventually bent downward probably due to uhh too much wrestling I guess. This frame seems way sturdier to me already though! Putting it together was pretty straightforward and took about an hour or two. Lining up the screws to connect some of the frame was pretty impossible to do alone so don’t be too big headed to ask for some help. The rest seemed pretty easy, idk I just watched him put it together and drank tea. But the metal has this grainy texture and seems sturdier than I expected for a $100 bedframe — a specialty kind of frame no less! I’m pretty impressed with it so far, it sleeps comfy and I don’t feel the bars even though we’re only on a 10” Zinus foam mattress, another great amazon buy btw. I get one every time I move it’s so comfy and affordable. Can’t usually say the same for frames. To really test it’s limits we haha er wrestled on it. I’m a professional wrestler and to my surprise, the mattress didn’t even move, the frame didn’t slide on the vinyl flooring, no squeaking or rattling sounds. So, 10/10. Wish curtains were cheaper, maybe I’ll take a break from wrestling and learn to sew or something. Pic attached is for height reference and I am 5’9! ... show more

It was a hard build for me but it was worth it. It’s an extremely tall frame, takes up a good portion of my room, but it holds strong. It does make creaking noises but what bed frame doesn’t from time to time? I enjoy having it, I am looking forward to putting a canopy curtain on it!!!

I love how sturdy this frame is. I had a similar canopy frame bed and it was very wobbly. I was really concerned that I would face the same issue with this one but I was glad that I was wrong. There's no squeaking as well and it is very easy to assemble as I did it all on my own with no assistance. It perfectly fit my full bed with no gaps.
