I dont write reviews like this often but I have to say I was not disappointed at all with this arbor. Came securely pkgd and in tact. Had all the hardware and pieces. Easy to assemble but is helpful to have assistance in same parts of the process. Mainly the arch part. Looks beautiful and we are excited to decorate it for our backyard wedding. I was looking for an affordable, sturdy white trellis. All I could find in my budget was plastic white trelliss but all the reviews indicated that they were flimsy so I ended up purchasing this one (solid wood) and painting it in white. This really looks great in my yard. Very sturdy and all hardware was included and good directions. They provide a tool to tighten all the nuts and bolts that is a big help. I would definitely recommend this product. I put it together in about two hours and will paint it a darker color!!

It is a beautiful Arbor. Everything lines up perfectly and easy to assemble. It took us a few hours to finish it. We braced it with some steel stakes; 2 feet long. Very secure. Next spring will plant some flowering vines at the base.

This is a nicely designed structure. It is much sturdier and nicer looking than anything I've seen at a garden center. The metal plates that add support to the main uprights would be nicer if they were at least painted a color to match the color of the wood, but once vines grow around them, it probably won't be noticeable. Pilot holes were not drilled in the wood for these plates, but I don't think that is necessary as you don't know how things are going to line up until things are put together, and the screws go easily enough into the wood. The top finished plates were missing in my kit, but customer service was extremely prompt and professional, and the parts were shipped out quickly. I highly recommend this product for the looks ( and smell) of the wood, the quality of the product, and customer service. ... show more

Having placed this beautiful cedar wood arbor at the entrance to our garden, it has actually brought a whole new level of beauty and sophistication to the landscape. Our neighbors have been very pleased with the addition and there’s quite a bit of planting space available on the arbor itself. Having purchased a couple of sets of colorful metal hanging planters, I was able to plant and hang so much more than I expected with the arbor. There is a no-dig policy on the property where we live so I’ve been relegated to container gardening that, at first, I didn’t know I could manage, being a very new concept to me. But having the arbor with all of the hanging plants leading to the entrance made adjusting to a container garden very easy and also inspirational. And I think it’s important to note that the arbor, while relatively large, doesn’t take up a great deal of space. The arbor is about 7’ tall, 4’ wide so it’s easy to walk through without brushing up against the hanging plants. ... show more

Installed in May and a few months later the wisteria is taking off! Next year it will be beautiful on this trellis! Great purchase! Added brackets nit included and cemented into the ground. Very solid piece. Would purchase again!
