Fairly easy to assemble with provided instructions. It took me a little over an hour. All the hardware come in a little white cloth drawstring bag tied with a red ribbon. The hex wrench isn't very strong so I used my socket wrench which made things go faster. Use gloves while putting this together because there is some residue from the hardware and furniture finish that should be hosed down prior to use. The chairs have plastic feet to keep the legs off the ground and out of any water but unfortunately they table legs don't so I used non-skid furniture leg pads. ABOUT THE UMBRELLA; This is the only drawback to this set because an umbrella stand is too wide for the table legs to go around. You can use an umbrella without a stand while you're using the table but don't leave open or in table when not in use and use a light umbrella no larger than 7 feet in diameter. I've decided to buy a base with a flat surface and only 2 inches high on which the table can sit. I'm not sure about how durable the bronze finish will be. Only time will tell but I plan to use a clear coat spray protectant in the fall because it's too humid right now. The seats are uncomfortable to sit on without a cushion or pillow but the design is so beautiful that it's worth the small inconvenience. Nice little bistro set. As others have pointed out, it is a little on the smaller side (I had to add two inch feet to raise the chairs). As for sturdy it isn't bad but I'm also 6'4" 250# so most furniture tends to seem not quite as sturdy. As for assembly it was easy and the look is stunning.

I saw the roses and immediately said yes to this beautiful table and chairs. However, I did not pay attention to the size. I am 5'4 and the seat of the chair is below my knee. This is a REALLY small table and chair set. I feel like it was made for Alice and Wonderland when she eats the mushrooms and then shrinks while everything else is large in the world. The set was also missing 5 screws and I had to go to Home Depot to get more. I will be selling due to size as I don't think it is comfortable for a full-grown adult to sit in as your knees are up to your chest. The design is beautiful and if you are buying it just for looks, it is well worth the money. ... show more

Some reviewers said it wasn’t sturdy enough for bigger people. A 250lb+ family member sat on it without a problem, although the set is on the small side which is OK with me.

The Bistro set arrived much quicker than expected. I love the color and built. The rose pattern is very whimsical. 🌹 Although only the legs are cast iron and the seats and table top are cast aluminum the weight of the pieces is heavy enough not to fly away with just any wind. I do like that at lot. Take into consideration that although the materials might be Rudy proof due to the paint coat they have, the screws are NOT Rust proof. Since I wanted my piece on the garden, I solved any environmental rust by simply painting over the screws after the pieces where put together. A nice oil base black matte finish paint will do. It took no time at all and the set is just beautiful. Totally worth the money!!!! ... show more
