This chlorine floater is quite well made. It is heavier than the regular floaters and has a screw-on chlorine container closure. I can literally sling it into the pool without wondering if the d@mn thing is going to land upside down or open up and dump the chlorine out. The BEST thing of all, though, is that the flamingo's neck is long enough that the device doesn't get trapped in the pool skimmer and screw up the water flow in my pool. This alone makes it worth buying. Esthetically, it is a kitch-y flamingo that your pets may mistake for a big chew toy. My dog was giving it the snink-eye just after I put it in the water. I pulled it from the pool to let her briefly smell it, and once she got wind of the chlorine, she is no longer interested. Lastly, the colors of this thing a super saturated. The pink color is simmilar to a very ripe watermelon and the green part would be best described as a "forest" green. If it fades, I think it will still have a lot of color. Although I have only had this chlorine dispenser for a very short period, I believe it will withstand the test of time in my Texas pool that gets very little shade. 2 thumb up! 👍👍 ... show more

Works well. Holds plenty of chlorine tabs including the large ones. Only issue is if you have a waterfall it loves to find it and get stuck under the water and the small hole on top of the head fills the turtle up and starts to sink a little.

The media could not be loaded. Prior to buying this flamingo I had the turtle and I believe I bought it from the same company. What I forgot is the lid that screws on to the actual dispenser is not sealed to the decoration properly. Therefore it slowly fills up with water and then it starts sinking and does not float level. If you're going to buy one of these I suggest you put silicone between the lid and the animal that's floating and completely seal it. Then the animal itself does not fill up with water and it will float level. It has been a few years since I bought the first one so I forgot about that. It's almost impossible to get all the water out of it once that happens. Slightly irritating. Otherwise, it looks nice and the dispenser has several settings. You can turn it to control the amount of chlorine/water flow through it. As you can see in the video the water is actually dripping back out of it between the grass and the flamingo. Works well to hold up to three (maybe four?) large chlorine tablets. Even with the weight, the floater still floats. I also like how the bottom holder extends out. This keeps the floater from getting stuck against the skimmer (which the prior generic blue topped one did all the time!). Hopefully, this lasts more than 2/3 of a season. Nice touch for the pool, I love to keep it fun. I received one that was not floating correctly but they quickly fixed the problem and replaced it. The new one works perfectly fine so I guess it was just bad luck...
