Where do I start? Everything about this kit lead to a carburetor that didn't function. The floats don't seal, the needle valves don't seal, the jets are the wrong thread, there are parts in the picture that were missing, and one of the pilot jet screws was bent despite having a protector on it.     • Does not fit 1999 v star
The provided float needles and seat do not work together the needle is to short to reach the bottom of the seat resulting in flooding. Most of the jets were also incorrect for this model also.

    • Float bowls broke with the slightest bump with the carb open
The media could not be loaded. One came broken the other I broke putting it on pile of junk go oem or upgrade to the single carb kit from kjs

I purchased this recently to rebuild my carburetors on a yamaha vstar 650 classic. This kit did not fit at all and was a complete waste ... non of the parts were the right size minus the replacement machine screws. Everything else didn't fit some parts were either too big or too small. Would really like a refund ... show more
