This chair is heavy and built well. If I had to change anything I would give it more depth of cushion so it would not be so hard. If you slept on it a lot you may want to put a 4 in memory foam on top and the cushions are very hard. It is extra wide so even a 29 in seat you will not touch the arms of it. The back folds down flat and the kick plate in front pulls out to back a single bed. It came with 2 pillows, hardware and tools. The directions were excellent. They gave additional info to ensure you know how to position certain parts. Didn’t take long to assemble. The chair, like most inexpensive furniture is somewhat hard, but the width and height of the chair makes it pretty comfortable as a seat. The “pull-out” part that makes the bed is difficult to pull out from under the seat. It rubs against the arms/sides of the chair. There are wheels that, I assume, are meant to help with making the bed, but they don’t really help. In any case, I like the chair and it will work nicely for occasional sleep-overs. ... show more

The 3 in one chair is perfect for my guest room. I have a full-size bed in my guest room and didn't have any chair or sofa to complete it. I find this chair exact match with the color of curtains and bed frame. The 3 in one sofa chair is amazingly and beautifully designed as it is very convenient to use as per your usage. I'm really pleased with the purchase of this chair. I love the blue color, true to the photos provided on the website. I measured out the space the chair would take up and used the handy app which projected a picture of what it would look like in my room. Yet I was still surprised by how spacious the seat itself was. There is plenty of wiggle room and the arms are wide enough to sit books or other items on. The chair is sturdy and firm. It's comfortable to sit in and lay in for a while, but I wouldn't use it as a primary bed without more cushion. It will be perfect as an extra bed for guests, though. The chair was well packaged to protect the cloth and had all attachment pieces clearly labeled. It maybe took two hours for me to put together by myself, and I took plenty of breaks throughout. After spending 2hrs assembling this thing, yes I read the instructions, it’s not useable.. The instructions are ok till step 7 and then it gets complicated. The left side is bowed making it impossible for the footrest to stay connected. It pops off as you pull it out. It’s beyond firm, feels like I am sitting on a board. And to top it off, I have to disassemble it to ship back! I think everyone should just pass on this one. ... show more

I’m not a fan of the fabric used in the ‘Linen’ option; it’s definitely nothing like linen and much better described as canvas. If I had seen this fabric in person first or it had been more accurately described, I would have gone for a different option (of fabric or a different chair all together). The style of the chair is decent looking (other than the fabric closer up), and color is a nice neutral beige. There were some areas where the stitching could have been better though. Assembly was fairly straightforward, with decent instructions (very helpful to have an electric screwdriver), and was completed with two people (very helpful for a few of the steps) in about an hour. These are a few areas where the design could be better. First, the stool piece doesn’t actually attach to the chair, but rather the wheels are just supposed to slide over and behind those of the chair, which is annoying to set in place (took several tries), and does not stay securely in place when pulling the chaise part out and it regularly comes apart and is a bit of a pain to put back in place. We are using this on a carpet, so perhaps on hardwood it might be a little less of an issue, not sure. The next design issue is that when folded down into the sleeper position, there is zero support under the head (backrest piece that folds down), so that if a normal person lays down with head facing that way they will likely tip the chair back (especially since the chaise/ foot section is not connected to the middle chair section), which could be very dangerous. We countered this issue by sleeping in the other direction with head facing in the footrest position (but depending on how you have this set up in a room and which way you are comfortable facing in that room, you may have to turn the entire chair around as we did each time you want to use it to sleep 🙄). One could also prop a heavy support of some type under the head section, but would be better if this issue was addressed in the design. For these design and fabric issues I can only rate 3 stars at most. Since you can’t see the design issues until it’s set up, it would be a pain to take it back apart to return in the original boxes. We kept the chair because of this, but if I needed another one, I’d probably try a different option. The design issues may be harder to fix, but updating the listing to have better descriptions of the different fabric options would be very easy, and I strongly encourage the seller to do so. The price is on par with other similarly styled convertible sleeper chairs, from the research I did before purchase. ... show more

This chair was a real chore to put together, even for two people, but totally worth it. It looks so nice in my room, and I love the space-saving design of the pull out ottoman. My cats like to sit on it, but they haven't clawed it up at all. (Apparently cats don't like to scratch velvet, so this is a great option for cat owners) ... show more
