I needed some strobe lights on my aluminum f250 and didn't want to add to the hight of the truck and couldn't use magnets so I got this for the front windshield. I installed them using heavy duty velcro instead of the suction cups because they usually fall off after awhile on other accessories that mount with suction cups. The light and controller has a memory theycome back on at the same strobe settings that was used when shut off which is nice you don't have to go through them all to get the one you use ... show more

These are very lightweight but hold to the windshield with the provided suction cups and plastic mount. The lights are brighter that I expected and are great for temporary use. Long power and control cords make it easy to mount it where you need it with extra length to tuck into the molding for a cleaner look. The control has 3 pre-programed directional patterns (left, right, and center-out), a "custom" button, and a "pattern" button which gives you 5 patterns available on the fly. ... show more
