Great beginner set. I've been practicing with this set and everything works well. I am 5'8" and 250lbs. Holds steady, however, you can't move too much on the extreme corners. So 4 stars for that. This ends up being a pretty good deal to get into saddle hunting. I understand everyone has their own preference but what companies are charging to get into a saddle is ridiculous. A setup can easily cost $1000 or more and all you get is sticks, a diaper, and a little tiny platform. This get you started. ... show more

If you are large this is not the saddle/platform for you. Im 6'4 285# and bought this saddle because it had a higher weight rating than anything else. The invader platform flexes like crazy, and will fold up on itself if you are on the back corner. The saddle itself will work, but by the time I attached dump pouches they were so far back its hard to get to them. The loops for the lineman belt are virtually worthless, i have to use the bridge loops for my lineman. The saddle will ride up constantly as well, i was able to adjust it but XOP could have made this so much better for a small cost. The ropes again will work but are very clunky and all identical. If this is all you have to spend.....it will get you out there and you can slowly upgrade as you see fit. If you are large and want the additional weight rating....forget it! ... show more
