These are very good sponges, they don't turn to mush in the water after a few hours like most sponges. They are perfect for cleaning thin set while tiling or for grouting. Way better than what is sold at Home Depot or Lowes, and for about the same price.

I use these for my work, but I buy them in bulk because I teach mosaic classes and offer kits for students. Since the pandemic, it has been great to be able to purchase these for the kits, which I ship out to students, and they follow instructions via zoom. Handy!

Sponges come vacuum sealed in a bag. They don't expand to their original size when taken out or soaked in water. They're useless to me now
