This silicone mat fits around the faucet and help to divert water back into the sink and prevent water puddling around and behind the faucet. This does a great job keeping the faucet area of our sink dry but it has a pantent look to it, very shiny. Drops of water dull it and make it look dirty. I'd prefer a matte finish.
