The media could not be loaded. Was a two day late arriving other then that product was delivered nicely packaged no damages whatsoever. Installation was a breeze. Connected adapter to my rear cigarette plug (plug & play) instead of running it tru the front like how they instructed. Much cleaner and faster. I got this in October, installed in late November thanks to work. It worked fit was great looked nice but it didn't do a fast charge but it indicated it was charging and the phone wouldn't really get much of a charge. Getting the phone in the right spot to charge was difficult and it would break the charge connection and the phone would get really hot. I figured it was my phone protective case so I mainly just used my USB cord for my phone because that's how the my maps work in the truck. So last week I had someone with me who tried using it while we were on a road trip. This was the 1st real usage of the charger. When she used the charging pad and her phone and the pad got so hot the phone shutdown and the pad was to hot to touch. Now when I put any phone on it it indicates that its charging on the phone for like 10seconds then its like the connection gets broken and then reconnected, and it continues over and over it doesn't really charge and the phone gets hot. So obviously it doesn't really work right. Unfortunately I am 8 months past the return period and feel I wasted my money as this was supposed to be the universal charger anyone riding with me could use and didn't have to plug into my truck. ... show more

Easy to install .does what it says. I actually connected it via the rear USB port and lighter way easier than running it all the way up front.

    • Wiring plugs do NOT fit 23 Silverado

The tray part on the console fit perfectly, but the wiring harness supplied does NOT work on a 23 Silverado with the fold up center console. The plug on the back of the cigarette lighter is completely different than the one they sent and the wires are short by over 30 inches. I just made my own wiring, it's just a power and negative to the wires on the cigarette lighter and reused their plug on the charger end. Anyway this is NOT a plug and play install....but, if you're even halfway handy with wiring it won't be a problem. The rest of the kit looks good quality and seems to work fine, hopefully it lasts a long time. ... show more

This upgrade was a perfect fit for my Silverado however that's where the good news ends! First and foremost this charger gets so hot that the phone will stop charging due to overheating, and this happens in about 20 minutes. Scared to use it for very long. Also while an Iphone works well with this unit, my Samsung S21 has to be slid back a little to align the charging coils which requires raising it up a little in the back and, of course, it won't stay put while driving! ... show more

    • wont work with protective phone cases
I have a 2018 silverado. It already has wireless charging from the factory but is super slow and the tray wont fit my 13 pro max phone. Bought this to try and upgrade and make more room. Problem 1-Even though I have all the wiring for the charger, I was not able to plug directly in. Had to still wire it to the cig. lighter in the rear of console. Problem 2-I use a Defender case and even with the wider tray this has, my phone still wont fit in this charger. Problem 3-I bought a smaller Commuter case and then the phone fits but now it wont charge. It activates without a case so I assume it's a bad case. I proceed to buy 3 more cases to try and not a single one would activate the charger. I reached out to the MFR and they said "it's not made for thick cases." In fact, the only case I could get it to activate with is some cheap $5 plastic case which offers NO protection to the phone. Problem 4-Its supposed to be a 15W upgrade to the 5W factory charger, so I wanted to see how it worked even if none of my cases would work. So I put my phone on it with NO case at all and after an hour of driving I had charged from 15% to 17%. I expected more than 2% in an hour of charging. Company was kind about refunding/returning, but wish I had known this stuff before I wasted time and money trying to make it work. ... show more

Took about 40 minutes to install. Works as advertised. Doesn’t overheat and doesn’t slide around. Yes the led is bright and annoying but a piece of black tape solved that.

this thing sucks. had it installed for about 3 weeks now and it will only charge if the phone is sitting dead center in the holder area. if it moves 1cm it stops charging. the phone moves when you accelerate, brake or turn so that is a definite design flaw. when it does "charge" it barely charges enough to keep up with the phone usage. if i am on the road all day using this charger, my phone is dead by 3pm. all other inductive charges charge the same phone perfectly fine. also, the led light stopped working after 2 days. the only way this thing works is if you put stuff in the tray to keep the phone from moving and don't use the phone. in other words a chord charger is much more convenient and this thing is a waste of money. ... show more
