This phone arrived in a nice box and included the typical extras - a charging cable, pin to open the SIM comp[artment but it also included a case and a screen protector which is great. I charged it up and the screen is bright with a bit of weight, more than my iPhone. I signed up for a low cost plan online and was shipped a SIM card - popped it in and had service. For the price, the Xgody A54 is okay. I got it for my 5-year-old, and while it works as expected, there are some significant limitations. Cons: Limited Features: The phone has very limited features. Facial Recognition: The facial recognition feature, which is touted as a "flagship" feature, only works about 40% of the time and only allows one face to be added. Laggy Performance: The phone is quite laggy, especially if you plan to play games on it. With only 2GB of RAM, it struggles even with low-graphic games, which was a big disappointment as one of my "drawer old phones" with similar specs runs better when running those sasme games... Poor Flashlight: The flashlight is practically useless. (seriously!) Pros: Decent Battery Life: The battery life is decent, which is a plus.I HIGHLY doubt it dishes out the 4500MAh, but it does keep up fairly well. (I'll run some benchmarks on it soon and update this) Expandable Storage: The phone supports an SSD card, which is essential since the 35GB of ROM isn’t enough. Loud Volume: The phone’s loudness is impressive, and it has a good selection of ringtones. BIG PLUS: The phone does come with a screen protector and a cheap little case which is great. Final thought: For the price, it’s what you might expect. I’ve had it for three days and haven't yet found anything that would make me throw it against the wall and move the SIM back to an older, unused Android phone I have lying around.
