We got this for our outside fire pit area to watch football and movies. The picture is great and if we were using inside I’d say the sound is great too. But we have quite a bit of outside noise, so we hooked up a wireless Bluetooth speaker which was easy to hook up & works great. The Elfin Flip is not wireless/battery operated which would make it better. We have to run an extension cord which is ok but I would like to be able to charge and play without a cord. The picture color and vividness is excellent. It really is an outstanding picture. We are watching sports and there’s no lag or delays. The only “problem” (and why it didn’t get a 5) is that if the projector is touched or moved at all the picture goes off and it recalibrates. This only takes a few seconds and maybe now that it’s set up we won’t be moving it as much, so not a deal breaker for us. Highly recommend ... show more

I purchased the XGIMI HORIZON 1080p FHD Projector on September 18 for nearly $800, including the stand, and was initially thrilled with it. The setup was easy, and the picture quality was fantastic. I loved being able to use it in my living room and occasionally on the patio to enjoy movies from the hammock. However, just two months later, it completely stopped working. One night, I fell asleep watching TV and woke up to only the audio playing—no visuals. Since then, the projector has not turned on at all. I contacted Amazon customer support, but they refused to help since it was beyond the 30-day return window. For the price I paid, this has been an exceptionally poor return on investment. I am extremely disappointed not only in the product’s durability but also in the lack of support provided for such a costly item. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this projector.
