Boom shacka-lacka & here we go... About the quality of the construction: It appears to be built well in terms of weight & looks. It's small but weighted enough to give the appeaeance of a "good speaker". It's sleek but definitely could use some design edits. The casing is all "speaker" which means if you're laying it down on something instead of standing it up or if it falls over or whatever, it will drastically change the sound because it becomes partly muted or stifled since that side it's lying on is covered. Now, when I got the order of which I ordered the black one, I was sent a blue one. The blue color is actually nice. I like the blue color better than the black color. However, it didn't work. Well, it came on, went off, the radio didn't work & other mechanical operational glitches. I reached out to the seller. They greatly communicated & quickly provided a resolution of a replacement. Wellllll, the replacement which was the black one, also doesn't hold up to the hype. The sound was actually better on the blue one albeit neither good speakers overall. Sound: It is NOT a good crisp sound. The volume is still moderate even when turned up to full capacity. I've had much lower price tagged speakers in the past that gave much bigger voluminous sound. In this Xeneo 21 speaker, the distortion & echoes in the sound are atrocious. What's weirdly inconsistent is that the blue defective one sounded better with no radio whereas the black one's tadio works but not as bad with bluetooth to the phone albeit it still does have the annoying "ehoey" sound with both applications of use. It'll have to do until I'm able to purchase another kind later. This speaker is NOT worth the hype attached to it. Radio stations: In order to program them should be able to be seen on the speaker or at least heard as you switch through them to know what is what. It doesn't get all the stations as with other devices/radios. It keeps going around & around to the same stations you've already heard with no way of knowing the actual station unless you're familiar with the d.j.'s voice. If music/content is playing when you're searching, "fuhget about it". Phone use: Talking on the phone is surprisingly good. I didn't think this would work but does & the other person can actually hear you. Other speakers I've had didn't do well here. It also has this gnarly office phone ringer of which I like. What I really don't like about it that it still rings even you have the "Do not disturb" feature turned on your phone. You also can not silence the ringing. Not to forget to mention how trying to silence it by pushing the "play" (triangle) button or the bluetooth "B" button inadvertently answers the call. So yeah, that's not good. One of the buttons should silence the ringing or not ring at all if the device it's connected to is on don't disturb. Oh well, my opinion... Instructions could be better adapted for the bulk of the customer base to make setup easier. I had no problem but, Im sure others have & will. The overall consistency is not so consistent. Manufacturing needs aligning yo ensure consistent product quality across the board. It is hit or miss of which that shouldn't be a thing when selling items like this. Or any items of mass production for that matter. The machines need calibration control or something. I don't know. I just know things aren't consistent in quality. Next, the battery life: This thing does NOT last more than 3 hours of the charger. It boasted of 10 hours or more. What it does have is a power saving feature that turns ot off after about 25-30 minutes when NOT on the charger. On the charger, it doesn't which is fine. Pricing/value: This most certainly needs to be adjusted to reflect the quality. It's too high for these offerings at this point. I was so happy to get this only to hear the echoes & distortiom. Lastly, the "rubba-dub-dub-shower-&-the- tub" feature, WON'T be had by I. It would be just my luck for me to try the water/"splash" capability & it totally & permanently shuts off or worse. So, until I buy another speaker to replace this one, I'll err on the side of caution where I'll not do it. Overall opinion: it's lightweight enough & kind of sleek & modern looking with its uniformed look. I like the look of it. Other than that, it leaves A LOT to be desired in terms of functionality. It's way overpriced for the way it works. In closing, I don't recommend this speaker unless there's a price reduction & improvements made. HOWEVER, I do recommend the customer service of this company because they at least try to assist with great response to inquiries. I hope they get better quality product as I'd like to shop with them again. For me, customer service is EVERYTHING! And that is their saving grace. *EDIT*-- i know I mentioned time of usage after charging but, it's... Well, it only stays on for 22-25 minutes (depending on its mood) when idled (being on but, not being used). Hence the "power saving". HOWEVER, how can they make claims of "10 hours usage time" if it doesn't even stay on past 22 minutes of you're not using it??? Not everyone runs a speaker continuously for 10 straight hours. Rest assured, I tried that! It was out of power after about 3 hours 50-ish minutes (kinda like I said before). No way is this 10 hours. I tested this thrice to be sure. SMH........... Oh yeah, volume is adjusted in the unit by long holding down the "+" (plus) or "-" (minus) buttons. Alrightey, I won't say any more except, SMH. ... show more

I love the quality, versatility, durability, and price of this speaker. It’s not a major brand name and I was skeptical but I am happy I went through with the purchase. The Bluetooth capability coupled with FM radio makes this product unique. I couldn’t find any major brand like Bose or JBL that makes a speaker with both so I thank Xeneo for making this product! I listen to the radio and stream music 8+ hours of the day, five times a week minimum so you bet that the price is completely worth it! The small drawbacks: Hard to tell what radio station you are on because you have to scan through the FM stations. Hard to control the volume because you have to hold the plus or minus symbol for two seconds to change the volume. Last, you cannot tell the battery level unlike any of the JBL charge speakers that show dots for the level of charge. This speaker just tells you when it is charging. ... show more

This speaker has great sound, even with it's smaller size. I like that if offers Bluetooth and Radio capabilities; but I use it to play music from my SD card. The red buttons are very easy to see against the black background. I don't play for too many hours before recharging the battery, but I can say that the battery certainly lasts for more that several hours. Finally, I've used it several times while kayaking, and water getting splashed on it doesn't hurt it a bit. The one thing I wish this had was a way to attach it (without it swinging around) to a belt or strap. In the Kayak, it swings around, and when I use it for hikes I have to either stick it in a pocket (and muffle the sound) or else hold it with my hand. I searched on Amazon for some sort of cover that would let me attach it securely to a belt or strap, and all I could find was the Silicone Case for JBL Flip 4 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08VD8JVP7 ). As the photo shows, it isn't a perfect fit, but it is close enough. If Xeneo or anyone else know of a cover that would fit better, please let me know and I'll buy it. Bottom line, I love this speaker - just wish it had some sort of belt/strap attachment. ... show more

Do not buy this product, it's a cheap version of the original that's why instead of it being 50-60 bucks it's only 30-40 bucks. I bought this unit again after 2 years of the other one that I bought for 60 bucks. The original one I bought was amazing. This one however instead of lasting two years only lasted less than 2 months. Stay away do not buy ... show more

It’ll last on full volume for about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs and I work in a loud place but I can clip it to my ppe and hear perfectly fine until it get to 15% and automatically turns down and I’m not allowed my phone so I can just use a microsd card with music on it which remembers its place so you can have 1000 songs and it’ll still go through them all Only complaints are you can’t tell what radio station you’re on and the 15% and less battery making me not be able to listen full volume ... show more
