It is a good product for what it does. I had a rat chewing at the seal around my garage door. I used it to reinforce the seal after I replaced it and I haven’t had an issue since. It is a thin piece of flexible metal that stops the rats and mice chewing through the rubber weather seal. It is not a barrier device or an obstacle or anything else someone may be looking for. Your seal has to reach the ground and there can’t be any gaps that a mouse could crawl through. If there are, then this isn’t what you are looking for. ... show more

Love the idea of this product; however, the first set I purchased, one of the shields did not adhere like the other shield. However, I was sent out a new set which worked much better. My only critique is the directions are NOT clear. The company's video should have shown the actual product being installed. The current "cartoon" video leaves a lot of questions re: the installation process. Just a suggestion. ... show more

Easy to install but not sure it’s worth $20 dollars. They advertise as stainless steel but I do not believe it is. I work in the metal industry and I believe it’s an “e-panel” material which is very cheap but durable. I’ve had these installed for about two months so far, and the adhesion is hold up well. The next two months will tell if they will work or not. I feel mice and rats will be able to eat through the material easily still. Will update my post in a few months ... show more

Using these strips to reinforce the weatherstripping on the garage door frame. We live in the middle of the woods in Tennessee. The previous owners of our house were apparently fine with just the weak, flexible weatherstripping (and with mice and snakes in the garage).
