I have only had the xbox for a few days now, and it is most certainly an upgrade. Something to keep in mind when you are deciding between the series S or series X, you need a TV/monitor that supports 4k and 120 fps. Im not talking about the average 4k tv. To fully experience a series X you need a 2000 dollar 4k tv Chances are if you can afford that you can afford a series X no problem. The S, on the other hand, is perfect for a cheaper budget. At the time most games aren't ready for next gen, but the series S still runs them great. With a 8 year old 32 inch tv, I have noticed quite the graphical difference in games like Forza, Fortnite, Dead by daylight. If you do not plan on getting a super TV or a super monitor any time soon, then get the S. ... show more

Americans.. make sure you buy a US Power cord. It’s a little upgrade. Super overpriced, I could’ve gotten the series x but this was what I could get to.

    • Wasn't expecting this kind of power
I bought this with low expectations. I have a Series X as well and bought this so I didn't have to pack up my series x all the time going back and forth upstairs to downstairs and when traveling. This is SO powerful for its size. First thing I downloaded and played was black ops cold war. I originally set it to 4k 60fps this setting isn't horrible but it is basicly upscaling but it still looks great. Some fps drops at max settings. I changed my settings to 1440p 120hz and imedateley noticed a huge difference. The fps shot up and the picture still looked amazing. This was the sweet spot setting. Switched from my Xbox one to this Xbox series s because the series x is still being price gouged. Happy I did, the series s is faster and the video quality much better. Make sure u have a compatible hard drive as 512gb is too small for all your games. I already had a Seagate 2tb

The media could not be loaded. Xbox series s - package arrived with no damage !!! Bought it to play warzone, apex, halo, battlefield. I bought a Samsung crg5 curved gaming monitor and the graphics are great the refresh rate is 144 hz and refresh rate. Warzone is so much fun with this set up. Highly recommend to the average gamer or above average gamer. The download speed is good took no more then 3 hrs for warzone. Use Ethernet cord and put Xbox on sleep mode faster downloads ... show more

My son is enjoying playing on his new console and he is playing right now, I ordered the console to come sept,19-20 and it came in sept,17 I would really recommend buying this console, it is the cheapest out there.
