I've used Microsoft's earlier iteration of this charger (the mini USB type connector that is on Xbox One controllers) since 2016 and now this iteration with my Series X since November of 2020. This thing has never failed, always charges (I charge it over night or when things are downloading and I'm not playing), and the included cable even works with PC. I assume that last point is probably a no-brainer, but this means you don't need a special cable for PC, you can simply use the included one and then switch using the controller on Xbox whenever you want. I don't get all the 1 star reviews. Maybe these are the type of people that leave their cables and controllers around for their pet rats or children to chew on, but I keep my stuff out of reach of the kids and have never had a problem. For the record, I have used an off brand rechargeable battery pack in the past 5 years on one of my controllers and it would frequently disconnect or not hold a charge. I will continue to buy Microsoft's proprietary offerings for accessories because I know they will work out of the box with their systems. ... show more

When putting it to my xbox series x controller woks with no problem. And the cord it's good to change and play at the same time. Have to see this. 🤩🤩🤩

However they die after a few months &beont charge (went through 3). If it didn't have that issue it would be the only one I'd buy. A better choice would be the ( PowerA Play & charge kit for Xbox Series S/X ) Also works with Xbox one controllers You get two the battery lasts a bit longer & two ways to charge then either by cable or cradle. Only negative is they add a little bulk so controller clips for your phone are a no go not sure about other accessories like skins ECT. ... show more

Battery does not charge past the 75% range no matter what I do. I tried different controllers and cables. I tried charging 24 hours. I even tried a new microsoft xbox core controller and cable that were still unopened in box. My other batteries that are off-brand fully charge just fine. Edit: Bought a second time and it randomly stopped working the first week. My controller just disconnected during gameplay. It will not charge now. Again, the third party batteries I have work fine, so I know it's the battery. I will not be buying again and am very suspicious of this product not actually being an official Microsoft product. ... show more

I was a little tired of having to replace batteries in my controller, so I bought this. I like that it includes a charging cable! Now I can bring my controller anywhere with me and charge it whenever I get the chance. It's a lot better than having to go get batteries all the time.
