We bought the playpen so we didn't have to carry the crate/kennal to and from the bedroom to living room and back again. Or when we're out in the yard. The playpen is lightweight, well made, and super easy to set up. Our puppy Rucker loves it. ❤️ It's large enough for his bed, his toys and walking room. It's his safe place when he wants to nap, hide, relax, take his toys in it or just be. The side zipper door, has velcro straps so the doors can be rolled up for easy entering and existing. And yes, it keeps him contained when it's zipped up. The door and sides are made of a netting material which allows Rucker to look out and us to see him. There are 2 pockets on the outside for storage. It has a removable top when we want to keep him contained in it. He's growing boy and learned he can jump out. It's easy to wipe down to keep it clean. Or for cleaning up little puppy accidents. Downside. It is not easy to fold if you want to transport it. One of the side panels is skewed now that I folded it up when we travel. My dog is a Teacup yorkie that is 7lbs and I got the smallest one and she fits in it perfectly for bedtime! She hates it because she wants to sleep with me, but I LOVE IT!!! easy to clean, very spacious! Great product! Worth the money! Easy to use, easy to open/close, great quality! The media could not be loaded. NICE THICK material. Good quality in every aspect! Folds up easy AND actually fits back in its carry bag 😍 See my pics & video of u don't know how to fold one of these. Scooby won't get out of it. Lake I mentioned in my video.He wants to be in the living room but I walk around so much.And it's such a small , one bedroom apartment that i'm constantly either stepping over him or if he's walking around telling him to move because I speed walk and he's always in my way. So he even though he was a window seat, it's kind of hard and it's up high and it's just not as calming for a dog to be up at window height. He does like it, but he's not a cat, dogs are den animals. Meaning they not only love4 paws on the ground, but they love being UNDER ground. So he took to his hospital kennel immediately. Even though I did buy him a stroller with a very large seat/carrier/crate/car seat (yeah its multi-functional lol) so I can be hands free while I'm seeing Dr.s & having blood drawn & CT scans, etc etc. I bought this so he has his own little dark den for over-nights after I have surgery. He's 15 lbs & won't be able to sleep in a dmall hospital bed with me. This pop up exercise pen will easily fit in the basket under his puppy stroller l, I can hang his travel bag from the handles of the stroller or this, cus uts so so light weight, & stuff his nappy sack under the stroller. Either way , I am very , very happy with this pen. And he is STILL asleep in it! I'll take 1 more pic to show you, it's now 2 hours since the other pictures. He wouldn't go in the 1 it's ending back (I'm sending it back for other reasons tho). I'm impressed that he prefers to sleep in it in middle of the day. Usually he sleeps on or under my bed. I have a tip for you guys since I'm a dog trainer. If you have a dog that has high anxiety or seperation anxiety (any type), the order the black color. & use dark colored dog beds & blankets as well. Or deep earth tones (forest browns, deep moss greens, black is best tho). Black makes them want to go to sleep , it's more calming. The same way if you wanted to sleep in the middle of all the day.You wouldn't put white curtains on your bedroom window.You would put the darkest ones you have up. Dogs are the same way. But for anxiety, new definitely wanna go with dark colors, not light ones. ... show more
