I love this pet carrier! I have a shoulder and back injury and it is so difficult carrying a traditional plastic carrier to the vet. I got this when I got a new kitten. Yes, she is tiny and light weight, but there for sure is room for her to grow. My kitten is almost 4lbs now, and it still feels empty when I lift it onto my shoulder. The mesh sides have withstood her razor kitten claws without a mark. It is so easy to get her in and out with the different zippered openings. I got compliments on it when I went to the vets and from my friends who have pets. I did deduct one star because I had to return the first one which had a defective shoulder strap loop. It just wasn't sewn right and came off as soon as I picked up the empty carrier to put it over my shoulder. So, if you get one, check all the strap loops right away. I specifically wanted a carrier that would not collapse on top of my dog while she was inside the carrier. This carrier was great, the sides are very sturdy and keep its shape so she can move around freely. My dog is a little over 6 lbs and she had more than enough room. The strap that allows you to attach to your luggage is very useful as well. I really like that there are several (3) mesh openings as well. We were in the airport for several hours and I was not concerned with my dog being hot or not getting enough air. Overall, I am happy with the carrier and would purchase again. ... show more

Great little bag. love the mesh on three sides so two pups can see each other. also, since they are forced to lay down all the way on the plane, it’s nice for them to look up through the mesh and be able to see without straining. both lulu and fifi (9 and 12 lbs respectively) fit in their own small bag. it was our second try and the best choice because it has a tapered top- just a wee bit small for under the plane seat, but the tapered/slightly rounded top allows a bit of room to squish it in undamaged. square/rectangle shaped bags do not allow for this. the bag is sturdy. folds down mainly flat for storage. bottom could be a little stiffer, but mainly sturdy/strong. Out pups felt right at home in their bags. in fact, when we opened the top ‘door’ they at first didnt even notice they could escape! then they popped their heads out and just hung out in the bag while we waited for our flight. it was a good choice for us and the pups first trip went well. we look forward to many more flights in these bags. so far, value for money is great. we’ll update the review sometime down the road. fyi- our dogs are yorkshire terrorists (if you own a yorkie you might know what we mean by that!) these two are NOT teacup dogs. they are ‘normal’ sized. ... show more

We tried several bags – 8 to be exact. This one was perfect . . . plenty of room for our 5lb fur baby and super comfy. Not only is this bag airline approved, our little princess loves it! This carrier served multiple purposes for our travels. Yes, she can fly in it, but she also used it as her “bed away from home.” She took naps in the hotel room while waiting for us to get ready, and was comfy and cozy resting in the carrier when we went into any places that didn’t allow pets. Where many of the other carriers didn’t allow for easy in/out on her own, this one had THREE different openings (top, front, side) that all zipped up securely while not in use. The side opening is the one we used most – so she can see everything going on in the room and can easily get in and out of the carrier. This bag was sturdy and unlike some, didn’t cave in once set up. It’s also super quick and easy to break down flat for transportability. Thank goodness for that, because every time we got to the check-in counters, they make you open up the bag and set it up with your dog in it before they will issue your tickets. Both she and I love the sherpa padding that comes with the bag. Took it off and washed it before use. Held up really nice in wash. Let it air dry, not sure if dryer safe, but didn’t matter because dried thoroughly overnight. We’ve used this bag on multiple airlines, for multiple flights and we’ve been lucky enough to be able to leave the top open throughout. Even though she was comfy in the carrier just chillin’ on her own, the airline attendants were all fine with the top remaining open. Manufacturer even included a little pocket that closes with velcro - we used this for her poop bags and treats. We used a carabiner clip to attach her collapsible water bowl to the strap of the bag - so she was all set to jetset! Highly recommend! ... show more
