The quality of the product looked fairly decent, but because the ends were so structured, I was worried that it wouldn't squish underneath the seats of an airplane. I therefore returned it. Quality seem good though.

Works exactly how I wanted it to. It's easy for my cat to see out and observe the world, but it's harder for the outside world to look in at her, which is nice. She knows her carrier is a safe space and if you have a curious cat, take them on walks in this thing! We purchased two of the X-Zone Pet Carrier, Large, 19x12x12 because two of our juvenile cats already measure 36" from nose to tail. We ordered them in purple so that they would stand out. Pro's: The oxford cloth and netting appear to be quite sturdy and the carrier opens from both the front and the top. The handles and the shoulder strap appear to be good and sturdy. The purple color is quite nice. Con's: Both the zipper pulls and the zippers are quite cheaply made. For the price, better quality zippers would have been appropriate. Only the top of the carrier is framed so that the only thing that holds the rest of the carrier in position is the covered board for the animal to sit on. I do wonder about overall durability. The bottom board is cardboard and will collapse under the weight of even my 8 lb cat. We will be replacing that with a piece of plywood. I personally don't see the need for a zipper on the pocket at the back of the carrier, a slip pocket would have been sufficient. As others have noted, for some reason the bottom board and it's case were intentionally made at least an inch longer than the carrier. The carrier is flexible enough to encompass this and still zip shut, but it seems unnecessary. Overall, the carriers are OK, but not great. ... show more
