I have to admit I am new to ever using one of these, and at first primarily got it to help me with refinishing my mantle. The mantle has a lot of groves and places that I would not be able to get with normal sand paper and this looked like just the sort of thing that would help. I was not wrong! I haven’t had it long and have been crazy busy, but even with that and not reading the instructions fully as of yet, I was able to figure out how to put the tip on that I wanted, along with the little (cute) sandpaper on and give it a whirl. It worked great!!! It does not feel like a flimsy piece of equipment at all and all the attachments look to be well made with quality materials. Definitely worth more than the price point and great for so many different projects. And, everything fits nicely in it’s case. My one complaint (not enough of an issue to detract a star at all) is how minuscule the print is on the instructions. I will surely be needing to go to their site and do a little research for more information. I know there is much I need to learn about this (like, what is the little jar of brown goop??) but know a good deal and quality product when I see one:) I have a few pieces I want to refinish and this will work nicely for sure. This rotary tool is very lite duty. Best to be used for craft projects. It does come with a pretty decent selection of tools for working a variety of materials. Conveniently, it recharges with a common USB cord.

I like how portable this cordless rotary tool is. It is a lot easier to use. Just take it out and start using it. Best of all, comes with lots of accessories. Pros: - battery power - very portable - comes with lots of accessories - charge using usb cable Cons: - not as powerful as the corded one. This is a solid, well designed Rotary Tool. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm pleasantly surprised. I make keychains and purse charms, sometimes from unconventional things, and this comes in very handy. This kit comes with everything you need for pretty much everything you can think of. I LOVE that this comes in a nice, solid case that keeps all of your stuff protected and ensures that you won't lose anything. This Rotary Tool is cordless and rechargeable, and it comes with additional brass collets that allow for you to use a variety of bits so you aren't stuck to proprietary bits should you need to replace something here. the polishing tool etc... Would not recommend for a novice user.Small and easy to handle -could not get sandpaper to stay on -it kept flying off and no instructions how to use. Would not recommend for novice user.

I bought this tool for model making. It is a powerful little tool and very light and easy to hold. It includes a nice little started set of bits. I really like that it is rechargeable so I don't have to manage a cord on my workbench.

    • Lightweight and powerful
While this cordless rotary tool is not the most powerful rotary tool I have used, it is more than sufficient for light work. The tool as a whole feels very solid, seemingly made from a tough plastic. It does not feel as lightweight as I expected. The chuck is tool-less and has a black coating that will help it resist corrosion. The collet holder is brass. There are three brass collets included, allowing you to use a wide variety of bits. I use this on nails, callouses, claws. Pretty much just a manicure set at the moment until I pick back up a hobby that needs this.(No tool used on other materials will come anywhere near nails/claws again) ... show more
