I'm a Park Ranger and I bought this rope to have on hand for emergencies. I wanted it to use for River rescue or climbing down cliffs/ledges. Instead I actually got to test it out as a tow strap! One of my fellow Rangers got thier truck stuff in sand. So I had a Nitro and pulled up next to the F250 All I had was my rope so I decided, "well if it snaps it snaps, but I'll give it a try" I folded in half on the ends to make it sturdier and hooked up both vehicles together. Once we got it hooked up I set my car to 4x4 and actually towed them out. The plan was to both drive at the same time so the rope wouldn't snap, but I actually pulled them out all the way. After I went to check the rope and it was perfectly fine! After this I know it will handle my weight and I bought the 131 foot length too now. ... show more

Carabiner got stuck closed which was annoying until I got it open with pliers but the rope is amazing. The yellow shrink wrap on the ends hasn’t failed me yet but I kind of wish you could just tie the knots yourself
