  • Good value
Color: Red
I have put 100 miles on this bike without any problems yet. Pretty good value considering a similar motorcycle would usually cost 3 times the price. It took me about 5 hours to assemble out of the crate. Quality control looks to be lacking a little which is to be expected of a Chinese made bike. Although the quality of this bike compared to a Chinese bike I have from over 15 years ago is light years better. Top speed is about 60mph stock. I plan on trying a few changes to get it up to 70mph so it will be a little more highway friendly. Has no problems climbing hills. No complaints yet. Update: 300 miles on the bike now. Running great. Seems like no matter what I try, top speed maxes out at exactly 69mph. Running it at 7000 feet above sea level right now, 17t on front and 45t on rear. Ngk plug. Castrol synthetic blend oil. It will be interesting to see what others have done to maybe get 70mph plus on this bike. Jetting is not an option because it is efi, which I happen to love. Starts on first crank every time, even in freezing weather. Update again: 2200 miles on the bike now. I cut out the cat and welded the exhaust back together. I also put a k&n air filter on it. Full synthetic oil. Premium fuel. This thing runs great. I can now get it up to 72mph. If there is a tailwind it will go even faster. Very pleased with this purchase and glad I bought it when it was under 2k. And the best part, I average between 60 to 70mpg! Update again 4 years later: 6100 miles on the bike now. No major problems. I did have to replace the front and rear rims since they became bent beyond repair. A check engine light came on and it took a while to find the problem, but it was just a dirty sensor that needed cleaning. The biggest problem so far was the gas tank developed a small leak that I was able to fix with a can of sealant. ... show more

  • My 2023 uber eats hawk dlx 250 efi
Color: Blue
I do uber eats everyday the bike is fast enough to get to the highway before the traffic but the traffic is faster once your on the highway. You still do the speed limit and above 50 but cruising speeds without abuse on the motor is around 50mph.i go 20 miles at 50mph and I got up to 70mph going down a hill. This bike sounds amazing and it is comfortable and easy on gas and big. Im having so much fun. And i saved so much money. I wanted a 250cc from famous name brands but i chose to pay half the price and get this bike and flex with the money i saved. This bike was and is and will be worth every dollar. The only thing i didnt like is having to have a friend help me put the front tire on and lift the back to put the shock into place. I wanted to do it myself lol but Once you put the front tire on and connect the back shock your done asking your friends for help and you can sit there and do the rest yourself. . I am writing this review after 700miles of complete joy. Thank you for this bike. I am going to take care of it and make it make it 🙏🏼🙏🏼 ... show more

  • Amazing for the price
Color: Red
First, its not a Honda. If you want a Honda, pay 3x the price. And Im not knocking Honda, they’re worth it. But if you need a cheaper option that will get the job done, buy this bike, and read on. And read all the other reviews for tips while you're at it. Arrived crated up, took a couple hours to assemble myself. I then spend an entire day taking everything apart, adding lock-tite, and reassembling. Almost 400 miles on it now with no major issues the only minor issue Ive had is with the fuel gauge. Sometimes, when I first start it up, it will read low for a couple minutes. I think this has to do with the battery needing to charge back up after using it to start the motor. But its not really something worth worrying about to me. Ive hd many bikes with no fuel gauge at all, so I don't care. I ride mostly in and around town, going 25-60 mph. Its getting 80 mpg, which is pretty good considering i don't baby it. I put about 50 miles on it in the mountains, dirt roads and rough trails, and it did better than expected. Zero issues. Its weird to say but I would trust this bike on a cross country ride, something like the trans American. Not the freeway, unless you change the sprockets out for a little more top end speed. But I wont be doing that due to how I use it. But for cruising around town, or in the maintains, on or offroad, this thing gets the job done, has plenty of power, l is getting great mileage, and has been very reliable. If that changes, ill write about it. But so far, very happy with it. ... show more

  • If your debating yourself, stop. Do it.
Color: Black
I have been eyeing these bikes for month's. Written reviews, video's and forums. I decided to go with the 2020 Hawk DLX 250 EFI. After I had ordered I recieved a call confirming my choice of color and secondary options. Was told the driver would call me an hour before the delivery was made. The bike arrived in 7 days (5 days faster than the date given). The driver called me well before hand to let me know it was on the way. Delivery was smooth. Assuming you have done your research bedore your purchase, the assembly was fairly straight forward. Having watched assembly vids before hand definitely made it easier. One reflector was shattered on the front left side where the wheel is stored during shipping. Dallas Power Sports provided another after a brief email/pic exchange. They also shipped the Title and bike cover with it. Now, I'm a fat guy (330lbs) so I was pretty worried I wouldn't be able to ride this thing. (Max wieght is 330lbs) This bike has no trouble pulling me around. Easily hitting 50+ mph in a field. I have to admit, the miles I have put on it are pretty damned liberating. The bike rides great. Sounds great and looks pretty cool too. (I peeled all the stickers off mine lol) In my opinion I wouldn't put the speaker on. It gets in the way and feels more like a hazard than anything. Again, thats my preference. One thing I did notice and can be fixed through modifications, this bike will "bog down" some when you redline it. That little extra "umph" you want before you shift, you wont get it. But, like i said. I'm a big dude 😆If you're goin to upgrade, might as well get a better spark plug, CDI and air filter too. Follow instructions. Do the warm up starts. Then put good oil in. Bottom line is, if your on the fence, go for it. You wont regret it. Worth every damn penny. And would do it again. ... show more
