Yes description says black ink but I completely overlooked that and thought the colors shown on the package were ink colors not only barrel colors so was disappointed and irritated with myself. That being said the ink flows well, writes clearly and does not smear.

Nice for a bit, but run out of ink fairly quickly

They were great for the first few weeks, but noticed the ink would run out or almost pause. I would have to shake the pen and scribble to get it to work again. Also, the ink smudges when your had runs across it.

I switched to these pens and I love them for my serving job! They’re cheap, easy to clean and look cute. If they fall apart, they just snap back together again. They work great and I haven’t had any burst on me at all. The only bursted pens I had in my apron were other brands. 10/10 would recommend.
