Assembled stools look nice and have held up well so far under moderate use. I would consider these middle of the line in appearance and quality. I was putting chairs together some of the wood and the metal piece to rest the feet had scratches from either shipping or while packaging. These were assembled with no problem by two "senior" ladies. They look great, are comfortable, and were reasonably priced. Eight ladies were in my home yesterday and no one believed they came from Amazon, and that we put them together without a man's assistance! They look exactly like advertised.
