I have only one eyebrow that’s brown and the other has turned grey. Ugh. So I’ve tried dyeing the grey one,, bought several different products, none really stayed on past a few hours for me. Always reapplying. This product stays on for 48 hours! I bought brown, it’s looks completely natural with my brown/ grey hair. It’s exactly what I wanted. 5 star for sure!! I have sparse eyebrows. And what hairs i do have, most are grey! I've used loads of products over many years. Somehow i found this on IG...read the other reviews. Even looked at some videos on YouTube. I expected to like this for a few days and it would disappoint me. But...NOPE Its as amazing as everyone says. I finally did it. I bought Wunderbrow. Let me tell you, it has been a journey with my eyebrows and eyebrow products so I figured...it’s time to see what all the hoopla is about. This may be a long review because I have a lot to say about this product and the things that I’ve learned while using, so please bear with me. First off, I purchased in the Brunette shade even though I have a multi-tonal blonde balayage because I do know from reviews that Wunderbrow runs lighter than you think, and I can say that I completely agree. Brunette is pretty much the perfect color for me as it is more taupe when dry. Secondly, if you purchase Wunderbrow, I HIGHLY suggest watching a number of YouTube tutorials because it IS a product that can be difficult to work with and requires patience and definitely has a learning curve. If you think this is going to be a “throw it on and it’s perfect” product, unfortunately you’ve got another thing comin’. This aside, I DO love the outcome that Wunderbrow provides. Is it perfect? No. Is it worth it? For me, it is. Okay, so Wunderbrow is an extremely wet and liquid-y product. It has taken me several applications to get down the best application method because when it’s very wet and liquid-like, it does not adhere to the skin which poses a problem for outlining the brow as the first step. Naturally, you want to use an angled brow brush to apply this and not the spoolie that it comes with (which is basically a disposable spoolie you’d see at Ulta or something), so if you don’t have an angled brush I recommend purchasing one beforehand or along with this product. The applicator in the tube is a brush (much like a lip gloss brush) which you do NOT want to use directly on your brows. Doing so will apply way too much product that you’ll end up struggling to work through your brow before it dries (because once it starts drying, it and your brows are stuck where they are) and you run the risk of looking like a cartoon character. The best way that I have found to use Wunderbrow is by using a surface, much like a paint palette, to work off of. Personally, I use the top of a cream blush compact because it’s a flat, untextured surface. I don’t recommend your hand because it’s messy and will stain. So to start I get some product onto my working surface by using the brush applicator and just getting a nice little dollop on. After brushing out my brows with a spoolie, I go in with an angled brush (I use the Anastasia dual ended brush for all of this) pick up product and dab off excess on the same surface, much like you would when painting. I start by applying directly to the brow hairs instead of trying to define my brow (that comes later) with small hairlike strokes and using a spoolie to brush out the hair again before going back in with more product from my surface. I do this about 3-4 times to build up the color and by this point the product on my working surface has started to dry down which is when you want to go in and start defining the shape of the brow and using your spoolie as needed. Letting it dry down a bit allows it to become thicker in consistency and is when Wunderbrow does indeed apply and stick to the skin. This is definitely a product where you need to go in with a concealer to clean everything up using a different brush to make your brows more defined and have cleaner edges. This product does wear like a champion and through a night of dancing or a day of hiking it will not budge, fade, or smear. Wunderbrow does not come off with water, but it does come off with makeup remover or cleanser, which I use every single night if I have been wearing any makeup. So, the whole “lasts a few days” thing is really lost for me. If you use any makeup remover whatsoever, this stuff will come right off and will not last days. My final thoughts on Wunderbrow is that it does not take less time to use whatsoever, it is not a product I use daily but for instances where I need to make sure my brows are locked in for the day/night, this is now my go-to for those purposes. When I use Wunderbrow I really love the results and how perfect it can make my brows look. Is it the most natural looking? Not at all, which is why I typically prefer it if I’m going out to a show or a club. I do find that it wears better and keeps the brow hairs in place better than Anastasia’s Dipbrow and brow gel. Wunderbrow is definitely a solid product and I definitely will be using it when I need to/have the time to. It’s not a perfect product and like I said, requires some patience and technique in perfecting application, but overall I find it to be one of the best brow products I have ever purchased for creating a bold, sharp brow look that lasts through sweat, humidity and withstands my bangs until I take it off. My brows went on vacay & left me looking weird. Your brows frame the face & I purchased every product imaginable, in the past 5 years, w/awful results. So, recommending this "Wunderbrow" is a wonder, meaning you'll wonder why you didn't find it sooner. Here's how I get amazing & several days of incredible results: Start with clean face or at least, brow area. 1. Shake tube well, then carefully remove the applicator brush, by wiping excess on inside of tube. When applicator end looks smooth & flattened, it's ready to apply. This ensures that glops on the brush, don't make you look even wierder. This stuff doesn't just wipe off - if you apply too much, use a dab Ponds Cold Cream to wipe off & start over - just remember to wash away the Ponds, as it is a bit too greasy. 2. Starting with inside portion of brows (closest to nose) very gently pat or wipe the Wonderbrow on that part of brow or skin. I use one stroke, from bottom to top. [shake & repeat for other side, when finished] 3. Use the included brush/spoolie to spread the product over whole eyebrow area (or in my case, what's left of them) from where just applied, gliding across brow area, above nosebridge to outer brow, or temple area. This can be repeated, but not always necessary. 4. I favor using (2) colors for greater flexibility & beautiful results. The lighter color goes on first. I brush the fresh product from nose to temples, before dries completely. It's art that you create. 5. If I want a more arched brow (so looks like botox brows) I'll repeat step 1 & carefully paint an arch, using only (2) strokes w/edge of flattened brush- one upward & one downward, creating the arch. 6. Brush the arch, and only the arch, for now. 7. The wonderbrow formula allows for "shaping" before completely drying, in about 2-3 minutes. 8. This step is the artistry. If you also purchased the darker color, shake, wipe excess till brush is flat, then very gently use the edge of the flattened brush & add little bits to the arch, which defines it, better. Use the opposite end of the included spoolie (the thin brush) to faintly pull some wonderbrow product to complete the "outer tail" of your brow. In no time, this will all be as easy-to-use as lipstick. 9. To complete your perfect brows, brush the brows in upward strokes. 10. Hint of perfection: ELF cosmetics has a superior brow palette. I also purchased the dark & medium/lighter palettes. What I love is the clear wax that is applied w/their brush & holds the shape of brows, like hair spray retains a hairdo. And, of course, the palettes are great for light touch-ups. There are (4) gradient colors in each palette. An excellent & cost effective solution, to wondering how you lived without this Wunder of a brow! 11. Enjoy your brows. They're waterproof, smudgeproof & sleep proof - but you didn't hear that from me ♡ ... show more
