  • Such a great book for teens!
Dealing with all of the challenges today can be overwhelming for teens. My girls haven't had the lighthearted experience that I had growing up. The world is different now, and they need help navigating this process. This book was an excellent way to get their thoughts out on paper. It's been such a great resource! ... show more

  • Excellent, for tweens too
I love the prompts in this journal, and the variety of writing options. A very thoughtfully put together journal for young girls.

  • It’s ok
I was really excited about this book for my preteen daughter. She tends to hold her feelings in and I wanted to give her a tool to work with them. Unfortunately, this book didn’t live up to my expectations. First, it’s self published so the quality is lacking a bit. Second, the pages are pretty repetitive. At first, I didn’t even think there were prompts but after looking it over more carefully I see that at the very top of some of the pages, in very small print, there are questions. It doesn’t feel well laid out or engaging though and so I’m going to return it. It’s disappointing. However, this may work for some kids. I just don’t think it’ll draw my daughter in. ... show more

  • Meh
Not really a guided journal. It has a single prompt about every other page and it's the same on every page. Not what I expected it to be so I'm returning it. I think for kids this needs to have more details and ask more questions so they can self reflect .
