Okay, this thing comes with like a million pieces. Not really, but man it was a bit overwhelming opening it up. Our daughter has had a lot of fun building and playing with it. You can create a lot of different things. Would not recommend if you have any toddlers around as they could easily choke on them. Also our pre-k child loves to knock it over and the pieces go flying. My kid loves assembling things, and this was a new type of a challenge for him. It was worth it. The miniature room you end up assembling is adorable and fun. Plus the quality is fantastic. My only complaint is that you would really want to build a few of these to make a house, and they are pricey!

This Breezy Time Cafe model set from Wowood is a bit pricey at around $43 at the time of this review. However, the quality and detail in this miniature set is incredible! Kids over 6 will enjoy putting it together (with some adult help probably), but this should be kept away from toddlers as there are lots of very small pieces. Those small pieces are where this kit shines: from the tiny fork (adorable!), to the baked goods, this set makes you want to shrink down and explore! The little light makes the set look great at night, though you'll need a way to suspend it if you don't have another set to add a floor/ceiling on top. The stickers were easy to install and look fantastic. Scale-wise, for those interested, this model miniature set falls into an awkward place - it's definitely too large for "minifigure" sized characters, while 3 3/4" figures (1/18 scale) are just a hair too big. Not so big that you can't make it work, especially for smaller figures, but the scale is not perfect. Honestly, this set is really cute and well-made, I am considering picking up more compatible sets from this company, the quality and play value are top-notch. ... show more
