I was not sure what the quality of this puzzle would be like, but it's actually really nice. The pieces snap together extremely well. I also like that the pieces are not all the same (ie, two innies and two outies), but are varied as shown in the product pictures, similar to what a high-quality puzzle from Buffalo or Ravensburger would have. I love advent calendars and I love puzzles so this could not be anymore perfect!!! At first I did not think I would like doing one small section a day, it did not seem too challenging. But turns out this is really cool and I love doing one section at a time!! The puzzle is beautiful and you could easily dump it all out and do it like a normal puzzle. Not only is this a fun way to break up a puzzle into manageable sections, it was one of the fun moments the family would decompress from each day and do a little bit of the puzzle together. We loved it so much we sent one as a gift to my parents too and next year we will exchange the puzzles with each other and have a new advent to complete!! This would also be great for someone who needs a brain challenge but perhaps is unable to do large puzzles at one time— perhaps those with beginning Alzheimer’s or memory challenges. ... show more

    • Fun to assemble
It was a great way to enjoy the 24 days leading up to Christmas. It could be easy (numbers on the back for directionality) to mid level. My boyfriend and I wound up completing the puzzle every few days. We would both take a box, put it together and add it to the big picture puzzle. It was fun!

There were 4 pieces missing. A bummer when you get to the end. But a beautiful picture and a lot of fun throughout the season!

    • Better quality than I was expecting
I've gotten used to the quality of dollar store puzzles so this was a nice surprise because the pieces feel nice and look nice when put together. I was concerned I wouldn't know which pieces of the puzzle to put back in the boxes to use again next year. All pieces have a number on the back to know which day it goes with. It's nice having a small portion of the puzzle to work on each day. It takes away the overwhelming part of putting a puzzle together, aka where to start and how long will this take? It also comes with a poster sized print of the puzzle but I put that away. I like having to guess what goes where. I highly recommend this! ... show more

Purchased this as a gift for my 75+ Aunt and Uncle who are using puzzles to pass the Michigan winter. They strayed from the intent of the daily set of pieces and my Aunt finished it in about a week because she had the time and wanted to see it all put together! With the pieces being numbered, she disassembled it and was able to reset it for my uncle to start building.
