My 15-year-old son loves this. It took hours to put together, but he did it himself and appreciated the experience. He picks it up to shoot with most days, and has made some adjustments to it, removing certain parts to suit his fancy. My only complaint is that some pieces are easy to break because they're so thin and narrow, and you have to use force sometimes to get them into place.     • Great piece but not for the faint of heart...
Bought these as a gift for my older children 13-20 years old. VERY WELL built and designed. Each piece is well cut and easy to remove from their wooden stack in order to build. The directions overall were very good and understandable, though there are a few parts where the understanding is muddled, even for myself as a production and engineering technician manager. Solid build and lots of fun once built, but takes patience. This is a multi hour build. Would suggest to not be realistic and spend a few nights putting it together. Overall would definitely buy again and highly recommend it for its build quality components and "cool" factor when done. ... show more

The instructions were clear, and the build was pretty effortless. I appreciate the fact that there's a safety. The two options (single shot and burst) each work very well. I was a little worried that it would be annoying to use as a left-hander, but to my surprise, the design allows for use of either hand. ... show more

Bought as a gift for my husband and he LOVED it. It took him a few hours to put together but he loves tinkering and puzzles so he enjoyed it overall. It did have a couple frustrating moments and he broke 2 small pieces throughout the build. Nothing a little superglue couldn't fix. He was impressed with the quality and functionality of the gun. The fact that it has a functioning safety was a big hit. All in all a great buy especially for the price. My husband is already scoping out what he wants to build next. ... show more

This is the best 3D puzzle imaginable!! Pieces are cut nicely, directions are clear and pieces smoothly connect together to create this nifty little wood gun. I was very impressed at how sold the construction was once finished and even more excited after realizing the gun actually fires as a multiloaded rubber and gun. So so cool. If your into stem style puzzles and project I highly suggest trying these out. I wish there was more guns to build but all of their project a look interesting and after using two kits with great satisfaction I know anything else purchased would be well worth the purchase. My son received two of these for Christmas and he absolutely loved both.. He is a gun enthusiast and has been since he was a small child so his understanding from make and history is quite extensive for a teenager. He is also very keen on STEM style puzzles and crafts. When he opened this (Tommy Gun) Christmas eve it was all over… He immediately opened the box and began to put together. This was a fun project to do! Lots of parts and takes time to make, but worth the time and effort! The rubber bands shoot pretty far, bur do not hurt if you get hit with one! It is a big toy and the details are awesome!
