I ordered 3 WOW Youth Sharkbite helmets (1 green, 1 red, & 1 blue). I chose these because I could get several helmets of the same design in different colors -- and the price was affordable (a very important factor when having to buy so many all at once). I was hesitant though because one of the helmets was for a girl and I wondered if she would have the same reaction as I did to the cosmetic look of the sharkbite theme. However when these arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how impressive they look in person. The cosmetic design really "pops" with the vibrant colors. And don't let the price fool you! These are NOT cheaply made helmets, they seem to be of very good quality. Also, sizing these helmets to each grandchild was very easy. I followed the recommendations of how & where to place a measuring tape on their heads and then chose the sizes according to the listed measurements in the product descriptions. Out of a total of 6 helmets, I only have to return 1 for a different size -- I'm kind of impressed with myself for that, but credit has to be given to the accuracy in the product descriptions as well... The helmets are a little heavy for my youngest two grandsons (4 & 5 yrs old). However, they do have slightly large heads so I'm pretty sure they wear a size that is meant for older children. I'd imagine that would be the same issue with other brands as well, so they will just have to adjust and get used to them. ... show more

The product looks good and my kids LOVE their helmets! The only problem is the sizing is off a bit. I measured their heads and chose their helmets according to the size chart. The helmets that came were too small, but it was just a padding issue. We bought mediums and then I notified the seller that I did the measurements as described and they were still too small, so they sent me new padding for size large and now they fit fine. The seller worked with me, that's pretty cool and I commend them for their efforts! ... show more

My son loves the design and the gloves aren't bad. However this will not do much to protect if you're going at any decent speed. We are using it for electric go-kart racing where the speeds are slow for kids. Once we switch to Gas go-karts I will buy a real helmet.

Felt like the sizing was slightly bigger then a youth medium we had gotten in the past from another manufacturer but nothing concerning just wobbled a little more then other helmets of that size. Still a good fit and gives her a little more room to grow into the helmet. A very good quality helmet for the price. And she loves the gloves! ... show more
