We’ve had life jackets that were very stiff and uncomfortable, and kind of loud when they rubbed together. This is not like that at all. This one is actually very soft and comfortable. The size I got for my son is rated for 33-55 pounds. He’s 35 pounds now, so I expect he can use it this summer and next as well. This appears to be a well made vest. It is stitched well, has redundant securing devices and is brightly colored. The material is soft against the skin. It fits my 5 yr old well, and I'll feel much better at the river with this being used!
