At first glance after opening the bag this came in I was taken aback by the shape, size and feel of this basket. It arrived folded and I was sure it wouldn’t keep its shape once I put my dog’s toys in it, but to my surprise it’s been doing that just fine. And it’s holding all of her toys despite the small size. The basket itself is a good size. I bought it to put all my dogs bones in it while she was being babysat at my sisters. Is not sturdy and is completely misshaped from the way it was bend and folded for packaging. I would’ve returned it if I had the time to replace it before I left. This woven basket was a good size for my needs, I used it for a wedding gift to hold some of the smaller items and set it on top of the two larger items that I wrapped. The basket itself is a beautiful color of gray, a really nice thickness, it did not have any smell and was sturdy enough for my purposes. It was delivered flat, I just used some heavy paper to prop up the sides for a few days and that did the trick. Once the sides were up, they had no problem staying that way. I would say it was definitely big enough to use for their recommended suggestions, a great larger gift basket—it could definitely hold a throw blanket, or it would make a great basket for pet toys!
