These socks are thick and good quality. They are a little big for me but they still worked. I wore them in boots for tailgating and a football game on a very cold day and my feet were not cold. I also wore them on another cold night and my feet got a little hot on the high setting so I kept them on low. Battery is a little bulky but didn’t bother me. So I haven't tested them out in the wild yet but I can say without shoes on the heat is very minimal. Once I put my boots on, it was fantastic! The socks themselves are VERY thick and seem high quality. It's a little unclear on how you're supposed to wash them. I'll probably just stick to hand washing. The battery packs are a little large but if they really last a long time I wouldn't be mad about it. There is a battery light on them to tell you how much charge you have. ... show more

Easy to turn on, you hardly feel the battery. The socks feel good even without turning heat on. Can adjust heat easily from high to low. Comes with laundry bag so you can wash in washer on gentle. These heated socks are everything I could have hoped for with the ski season coming up!
