I was very pleased when I received this set. It is much sturdier than I expected. The tools are heavy duty stainless steel. I was surprised by the right glove with it's claw like tips. I am excited to use it in the garden to help dig around in the soil. The only thing I would change about the gloves is that the tips be removable. I was afraid to pull too hard in case they were glued in. My solution will be to add a pair of my garden gloves I already have on hand to use when I don't need to dig around. The "watering can" is actually a very small spray bottle. Not sure how useful it will be in my raised bed gardens outside, but maybe for spraying indoor plants? ... show more

This is a nice gardening set. It has fun colors and comes in a festive bag. It has all the basic tools you need to garden. It comes with gloves with claws on them. Very happy with this.

    • Nice set for the hobby gardener
I was using this gardening set to clear out my garden beds as winter is quickly approaching. So far, the tools are working well and I haven't had any significant issues with them. The handles are comfortable with a rubber grip on the top sides. The gardening fork metal is thinner than some of my similar tools but still has strength and rigidity (that is, I can put a decent amount of pressure and leverage on it without any problem). I noticed that when I look inside the handle area where the metal parts of the tools insert, it looks like it only inserts about an inch. Over time, this may become a problem. Ideally, I would prefer that the metal inserted further inside the handles. The finish on the metal is nice and thick. The weeding tool has a leverage bar/pad to prevent wrist strain when weeding. However, most of my weed roots are deep within the ground and this leverage bar prevents the end of the tool from penetrating deep within the soil. The gloves are sub-par and the finger rakes are not as functional as I had hoped. The hard plastic finger rakes are located on the right hand glove. If this is your dominant hand, you might have wanted them on the left hand glove. The tool bag is a heavy, synthetic canvas like bag which is nice and sturdy. These have a plastic hollow handle. That’s the only real concern I have as far as lasting. Might hold dampness and compromise the metal. It is hard plastic and feels comfortable when handling. The metal pieces are painted so eventually will wear off in the dirt. It’s a cute patriotic gift. The bag doesn’t necessarily match the patriotic colors with teal colored hems, but doubt the garden will care. I do like that the gloves have claws for digging. The set includes a soil scoop, transplant trowel, hand rake, cultivator, weeder, pruner, watering can, rubber gloves, and storage bags, all of which have proven to be essential in my garden. The trowel is the perfect size and shape for digging holes and planting seeds, while the cultivator is great for breaking up soil and preparing beds. The pruner is sharp and efficient, making it easy to trim back plants and shrubs, and the weeder is a lifesaver for removing pesky weeds. The tools are also comfortable to hold and use, thanks to their ergonomic design. I've been using them for several weeks now and have had no issues with hand fatigue or discomfort. OK, I admit it, I’m patriotic to no end, so when I came across the ad that Wosnows had a National Flag Style tool set, I just had to take a look at it, but once I saw all the options and features it offered I was “hooked” and ordered it right away. Besides having a blue background with white stars on the tools themselves and a bit of red here and there, I realized these were some exceptionally made devices. To begin with they are a rust-proof, well-made garden tool set that includes the following: scoop, trowel, hand rake, cultivator, weeder, pruner, and small plastic watering can. The blades on the individual items are said to be thickened and hardened (and they look it too) and so strong they won’t chip not matter how hard you hit it plus rubber handles on them that are strong for safety but with groves for a better grasp while comfortable on your fingers. Now about the included gloves, one of them has 4 hard plastic claw looking fingertips approximately 2 ½” long that are attached to the outside of the glove’s fingers on the ends, on my right hand that serve to dig in the soil while your fingers stay dry and clean. What a great invention! All this and it also comes with a sturdy 600D oxford cloth, rip resistant bag with two well sewn carry straps. The bag itself is extra, “super” large and would carry every gardening accessory I have inside of it while the spacious pockets all around the outside hold the tools for easy access. I’m guessing 3 pockets on each side of the round bag that had drawstring looking cords and two more of the pockets going around the sides for a total of 8.
