Does it work? Yes. Is it lightweight, efficient and wonderful? Yes. Does the automatic shut off work? Also yes!!! This didn't work for me because it doesn't work plugged in. I got this because I am forgetful and needed an item that would automatically turn off. It does this, but I also forget to plug it in. When the battery dies, you cannot use the got glue gun via the power cord. You must wait for it to recharge, unplug it, and then use it. Great for some, certainly. But if I can't remember to unplug a normal hot glue gun, I'm not going to remember to plug this in when I am done with it. ... show more

**Update** I was contacted by the company after making this review. They asked me some basic questions about what I attempted to do and requested that I send them a video showing the issue. After doing that they told me they would send me a brand new gun to replace the broken one! I was pleasantly surprised by this. I have since received the new gun, it is a different model but I figured it really didn’t matter as long as it was still cordless and worked well. I have to say, I LOVE this new gun! It works great, stands on its own and heats up very quickly. I have never had a company come back from a 1 star review to a 5 star but they did it! So if you’re considering this brand, I can say that they truly do stand behind their products and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are happy. Their products work well and I would definitely recommend! I have had this glue gun since February, I’ve used it probably 15 times since then. I have been extra cautious to not do anything incorrectly, like never pulling a glue stick back out once it’s been placed in the gun. Today I went to use it and it will not flow no matter what I do. I’ve cleaned the nozzle, made sure it was fully charged, gave it extra time to heat up, nothing. So I got the user manual out and followed the instructions for troubleshooting which lead me to removing the stick and then using a new one, still nothing. So if you plan to use this tool on a regular basis I wouldn’t recommend this one. I now have multiple projects I need to complete and I can’t because I have no glue gun. I only gave 2 stars because it worked great until it didn’t :/ ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My initial reaction was how beautiful and heavy the gun. Having to have only used a simple white with cord glue gun prior to buying this one. I read the instructions and put this baby to charge for good measure and what I immediately notice was that the charger it came with didn’t fit snuggly on the glue gun and the battery life was in no way what was advertised. But it charged any way but after two tries it stopped charging. I kept attempting even to the point to where I bent the charger. It just kept falling off. I was very frustrated that by the third use it no longer worked. After reading the reviews which I admit I should’ve done I realized I’m not the only one. So I resorted back to my cheap 7 dollar glue gun. I was disappointed because I bought it for my daughter’s balloon decorations and now I have to figure something else out. Mind you I’ve only had the gun for two weeks ... show more

It is a solid glue gun structurally but the battery doesn’t last very long at all. I usually end up having to charge it 2 or 3 times for a single project. After the 2nd time I get a lil annoyed and switch to my corded glue gun, which isn’t always convenient hence the reason for having a cordless one. It also takes a while to warm up which makes having to shut it down and charge it all the more frustrating. This would be an amazing product if the battery held a charge longer and/or it didn’t take so long to heat up. ... show more

I have been using a hot glue gun with a cord for the longest time and I don’t know why I didn’t buy this sooner! It is lightweight and durable for any project. The first thing that I do is to read the manual that comes with any tools so that I can know how to properly operate them. This manual needs re-working. That probably has to do with it being made in China and not having someone read it before printing. The diagram of the device with the numbered parts are on page 3 at the beginning of the book, but you have to turn to page 8 at the back of the book for the explanation of the diagram numbers. And then the next page (page 9) has "before starting the equipment" which should be at the front of the booklet. Needless to say, I took the booklet apart and put the pages in the proper order so that they made sense. Now for the operation of the unit: The instructions say to push the power button for 2 seconds. This did nothing for me. I have to hold it down for a minimum of 5 seconds in order for it to do anything. Then the power will come on. The booklet states that it takes 100 seconds to heat up. Mine takes at least 5 minutes before it is ready to use. You place a glue stick in and push it until it stops. But that didn't work for me. I pushed on the trigger and nothing happened. I found that I had to push the glue stick in completely (it took one whole glue stick plus one before it would extrude any hot glue). And when you have add another glue stick, if it isn't in over half way, it won't pull in the stick. That is a drawback. I didn't find that it lasted very long at all. I was using it intermittently and it lasted about 15 minutes before I had to charge it again. The glue did come out properly but it takes much longer to cool than it states as well. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this glue gun. It is pretty, but pretty is just cosmetic and not functional. ... show more
