My kid moved out on his own and lacking in tools i purchased him a few different ones to have as a new homeowner. these are great especially if you don't know much about tools lol. They get the job done but probably won't last the ages.

Minimal quality - I know they're budget imported tools. If you need a set of acceptable cheap tools to throw in the truck for occasional use, these will be fine. Having used them now on several occasions I have grown less fond of them. The adjustable angle jaw pliers especially are basically useless - for heavy twisting you need long handles and these are tiny. Plus if you really squeeze the handles hard, which you have to, the joints disengage and the pliers bind up. Basically garbage. But the other tools are adequate. They are very prone to rust - I bought these to go on my sailboat and even in a fresh water environment they have several deep fuzzy rust patches. In a salt water environment they would be red dust in a month. I wouldn't buy these again but now that I have them I'll find a use for them. For the boat I'm going to get name brand top quality tools I can depend on. You'd think I would have learned this lesson by now. But these are designed (as a lot of Chinese import stuff on Amazon) to look tempting in a photograph. NOTE - I'm now down to the side cutters and needle nose, which are acceptable tools. The rest have been discarded. I'm going to Home Depot and buy some real tools that can be depended on. Get real Channel Locks if you need to get something done. ... show more
