Description

High efficient shielding paint for the protection against high-frequency electromagnetic fields, low frequency electric fields and RF/Microwave radiation. Interior application on walls, ceiling and floors. Pure silicate paint based on potassium silicate. It does not contain toxic solvents, plasticisers, or any other toxic ingredients. Applied as a prime coat. Preferably covered with plastic bonded, water-based emulsion paints, facade paints or silicon resin paints. The paint offers almost constant attenuation, without preferred direction of polarization, for frequencies of up to 18 GHz. This means: perfect protection against future developments of the telecommunications industry in the higher Gigahertz range is guaranteed. Color: Black Coverage: 5 Liter - 37.5 sq. Meters (405 sq. Feet) Paint must be grounded due to electrical safety reasons! We recommend the EBX10 grounding strap together with GS3 grouding plate and WM-GL200 grounding cable for interior applications.

  • Wish I hadn't used this EMF paint
So, in all fairness, it seemed like a very good thing in the beginning. The (very black) paint went on smoothly enough in my son's bedroom where the EMFs were coming in very strong from the neighbor's router. There was quite a bit of hassle figuring out the wiring stuff, which I left to my electrician and painter. Okay, so it all got in (at a pretty hefty price after paying the professionals and the paint) and I'm pretty sure that it's working well enough to block the EMFs. BUT...I would not do it again for two reasons: 1) The room doesn't breathe! Imagine two outhouses---one made of wood and the other a tin can. Wood breathes, while the tin can doesn't. His room got mold. Lots of it. This is a new house and there are no problems in any of the other rooms. I finally had to put in an air purifier, then another one. I had to wash EVERYTHING with a special anti-mold product. I threw away pillows and comforters. I put in multiple moisture absorbers. Finally, I put in a dehumidifier. In 5 days, it sucked 2 cups of water out of the air in that one small bedroom. We do not live in a high humidity area and there hasn't been rain for months. I've finally got the mold problem under control, but there's one more reason I regret using EMF paint. 2. I fear the day that I have to explain all of this EMF stuff to prospective home buyers. That I have to tell them to be careful about what they do on those 2 outer walls (the only walls that have the EMF paint) and that I have to tell them what will need to be done to avoid mold. That right there will either kill the sale of the house or drop the price by several grand. If I could start over, I would use the EMF cloth that drapes over walls. ... show more

  • Works well but takes a lot more paint than expected
To be updated after final cure (7 days). This applies to 1 day after the initial multiple coating) only: IE50 EMR Works well but takes a lot more material than expected. Yes you can cover 100sqft/L but to get anywhere near the -44db down I used ALL 5 Liters on 14' X 8' wall (112sqft). My measurements were taken in a scientific (not lab grade) manner with an informal tool which has very reproducible results. I have yet to take final measurements after applying the final 2 Liters of coating. However, after 3 L of coating on a painted finished wall I am seeing 20 to 26 max dbm reduction at 2.4 Ghz Vs the bare prior painted wall. FYI the other side of this interior wall has a shelf of WiFi gear for home networking. Bottom line - it works, it works well, it takes 2 plus times the paint to get expected results. (As far as I can see.) more to follow... ... show more

  • Buy the grounding supplies as well.
It's quite expensive just for the paint and I don't feel that they accurately described all the other things you need to buy also to ground the paint. There's quite a few extra costs involved to completely finish the project.

  • Keeps EMFs out.
before you go painting, get yourself an emf meter and test the area before and after painting with this carbon paint, you will find the levels will come down dramatically, great product. Especially with 5g coming up with antennas proposed on every other block you need protection...
