If you're wanting a super warm and thick winter comforter, this isn't what the pictures and description show. But it looks nice, and the material is thicker and more durable than some other products, which is why it weighs more. The sherpa layer is very nice and cozy. But there's not a lot of stuffing or fill. If you pair it with other blankets, you will be fine. We got a king size to go with our thicker queen mattress, and the size is perfect. Not sure if you have a thick king if the king will be big enough though. ... show more
