My 6-month of absolutely loves this toy!! This is his favorite toy thus far. He loves picking out the carrots and stuffing it in his mouth. I would definitely caution the mothers/fathers... DO NOT LEAVE YOUR INFANT ALONE WITH THIS TOY. I can definitely see it being a choking hazard. My son loves to stuff this in his mouth which will induce his gag reflex. But as long as you are monitoring them with this toy, I believe its a great buy and a great gift as well! My friend actually had this for her son and my son loved playing with it, so I bought his own. It seems like 2 out of 2 infants loves this toy. Overall I loved this product! My girl loves it, the only thing is, is that you have to watch them when they are playing with the carrots. I believe some paint chipped off one of the carrots and I am not 100% sure if it was because she was messing with it in her mouth or not. Just be careful!

I got this toy for my 11 month old, he has started to show interest in using his own utensils when eating but doesn't always get his fork on the food. So I thought this would help in that aspect that he would have to put the carrot in each slot. It's on me that I didn't notice all the holes and carrots were different sizes, so that could get frustrating for his age.
