Well designed with a Carver in mind

I received more than I expected. Most journals like this are nicelooking but mostly blank or lined pages inside. This journal is full of tips, rules of thumb, common measurements and proportions. And most of the blank pages are in grid paper -which is good if someone is sketching a project and wants to keep it in scale and straight. Other useful info are charts and cross-reference to different tools, the design or profile of carving gouges. I was not sure if I should buy my father-in-law this Woodcarvers version or the Woodworkers version. Since they are so nice, I bought him one for Christmas and saving the other for Father's Day. Men can be very hard to buy for... this is a perfect solution at a very low cost. ... show more
