Took a few hours to get together with 2 people. You need at least 2 people. It is a very nice and sturdy looking piece of furniture. The desk could use a bit more support. Some of the holes were not there so we made our own to screw the hardware into. But my granddaughter loves it. Oh and very important the mattress should only be 6 inches tall. I love it, my son loves it ❤️ I've been searching for a real sturdy loft bed and I found it. I got the full size one and it fits perfectly in his room. It came with one set of strip lights but it wasn't strong enough so I replaced it with my own set I got for super cheap at like 5 below. Also the customer service was on point and made sure that I recieved my packages in a timely manner and altogether. So 10/10 recommend ... show more

Got this bed so I could sleep over my office area and rent out the second bedroom. The bed says it supports 600 lbs. I'm 180, and and my partner is similar so a flimsy bed wouldn't work. So far so good including the weight of the mattress. But we are reinforcing the frame regardless. It does wobble a bit. Grab some L brackets and attach at the joints and also anchor it to the wall if you can. The issue with the bed is the ladder. It's straight up with recessed steps and no hand holds. We were going to attach two vertical metal poles for a hand hold but getting down was so uncomfortable and a pain. You have to go backwards and wiggle out on your tummy. Nonsense for an adult. And unsafe for a child. So we built stairs. And now it's brilliant! I built the loft completely by myself and it was super easy. It's just a big puzzle and I had fun putting it together. Some of the pieces are a little janky as far as how tight you can screw things before the wood starts to disintegrate- which is why I recommend reinforcing things where you can. I also cut a shelf for the left side and added a small shelf up top. I'm sure it will work great- but for adults I recommend custom building your loft if you can. It's cheaper and easier. I just wasn't in the mood. Also added playground handles because the grips that came with the ladder are placed poorly. Added an anti roll-outta-bed bar too. The primary ... show more
