With a lot of Cedar trees on my property.I use this blade to shred down logs and make walking sticks. It has worked efficiently and quickly to grind through layers of wood. I haven't noticed any obvious dulling of the blade and have worked with this for a many hours at least.

I purchased this wheel to strip bark off a live edge walnut slap. Normally I use a heavy grit sandpaper or a grinding wheel. This thing saved me a ton of sandpaper and had the job done in a few minutes rather than an hour. Used this to grind down some tree roots sticking up in our lawn, did the trick well but definitely a dangerous tool. I was on my knees, both hands on the grinder - one on the handle and one on the side handle - and it still kicked a heck of a lot on me. Zowie these things are aggressive. After having it practically tear the grinder out of my hands I did figure out how to manipulate it for an easier time using it. Due to its' extremely aggressive cutting it will require a substantial grinder to power it. My Craftsman CMEG170 wasn't up to the challenge of powering this thing while removing a stump as it stripped the drive gears. I am looking for a more substantial grinder that can handle the massive torque this produces. Great product since it chewed the stump down quickly. ... show more
