    • Great way to learn, outgrown fast
I wanted to learn how to wood burn a "screen free hobby". This device was a great start for the money! It came with 11 attachments and a guide on how to use each one. The cord was long enough that my workspace did not feel restricted, and the attachments were easy to thread into the head. After a while it seems the head started to loosen and turned slightly. I had pliers handy, so I was able to re tighten it easily but was not thrilled about that. The temperature is either on or off, not much control to be had. This became an issue when I tried to learn shading. With just on or off you are not given a good experience to try and learn how to make really imaginative designs with depth. I am using my wood burner for the first time today. I am a crafter and using it to cut and fuse deco mesh. I am extremely disappointed with this. During use, the tip began bending. Im assuming its due to the extreme heat. Once the tip began bending, the whole piece snapped right out causing a burn on my finger. The threads to screw on another tip are completely warped. This thing gets so hot that the tip glows orange/red, so use caution. With that in mind, there is no stand that comes with this, so use discretion when placing this down in an area that won't burn or melt. The extra tips are the only plus that I can find with this product. It's ruined after the first use and I no longer have the packaging to return it.
