A couple of comments for buyers. Make sure to have a set of wire cutters and and awl is helpful too. The instructions on putting the chicken wire on is not very complete. On the raised portion start at the top and then go to the bottom. Cut off the angled left over pieces. On the door cut (carefully) where I drew on the diagram after putting on your zip strips to hold every thing in place. Buy twice the amount of zip strips as what they give you. No where near enough zip strips provided if you want to keep predators out. Use the awl like in the photo the twist together where the wire connects from one cut piece to another to further insure security of your chickens from predators (some predators can rip those zip strips right off!). To keep snakes out we dug down for the legs so the base sits flush on the ground. The wire is nice but had a few holes that we had to twist back together to fix. No problem but expected a bit better quality assurance. Generally speaking it’s nice for the price and fits our needs with a few tweaks hence the downgrade of one star (not enough zip strips and holes in the wire mesh and not great instructions). It is nice and sturdy once fully constructed. The wire provided is a nice product. The tarp may not last very long but it should do nicely for now and I can make a new one later using grommets and a heavier duty tarp material. Overall even with the few issues mentioned above this is a nice product and worth the price we paid. ... show more

    • Good frame but will need to buy wire.
The frame is easy to assemble and seems sturdy enough. It did not come with enough chicken wire, about half of what’s needed, and I had to buy more from hardware store. Maybe they sent wire roll for smaller pen. The zip ties to secure wire to frame are cheap plastic ones that break easy. They kept breaking off because the cheap plastic can’t handle the tension of holding wire. Got a 10 pack of metal zip ties from hardware store for $10, then found a 100 pack of them on Amazon for under $15. Those work great. The door latches fit over the poles fine, but do not have room to go over frame and wire and will have to cut bigger hole in wire on door for latch movement. The latches also keep popping out of the holes they’re mounted in. They’re not a single piece and no way to secure/screw the 2 pieces together. You’ll want to buy better latches. The frame construction and design is good, just be prepared to buy more wire, metal zip ties, and gate door latches and will cost about $150 more. ... show more

I am very pleased with this enclosure. My only complaint was the zip ties that secure the chicken wire. I reached out to the supplier and within minutes they replied back saying they will send out sturdier ties. So far very impressed! It was easy to set up instructions were easy to figure out. UPDATE the new zip ties arrived on Sunday January 31st. I am very pleased with their attention to customer satisfaction and the fast response given. We'll be ordering again from this company in the near future. Very easy assembly also. ... show more

It is very annoying to put together! It took me 3 hours and as soon as I got done with it my dog busted right through the very very thin cheap wire.luckily he didn’t kill any chickens. If you get this do not use the wire given. Definitely get some better chicken wire.
