You can’t touch another adjustable-length carbon fiber shaft paddle in this price range. For river paddling, the plastic blade is actually a positive, because I’d be worried about chipping a carbon fiber version. The catch with this paddle is that when it is open to the maximum width the middle unfinished piece is exposed to your hands (see photo). I ordered this product in two different Prints. One for myself, and one for my son. The other paddle came in and we were able to put it together just fine. This paddle had a female piece that was too small for the male end and it had to be jammed in because we had no other options and now it is stuck. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use the product until this past weekend and our return window ended on August 16. If someone at the company wouldn’t mind reaching out to help ratify the situation it would be appreciated. ... show more
