If you're after a high pile rug, then this is NOT the rug for you! Its slimline design is great for high traffic areas such as main entrances, doorways, living rooms, bedrooms, laundry rooms or hallways. This low pile rug is also wonderful for putting into the washing machine, when it's time for a quick clean! This is one of its greatest features! I chose to use this rug in my craft room area, to provide some warmth and to protect the floors in this well used space! This easy to clean, spill and stain resistant rug also doesn't fade or shed. It appears to be made of good quality materials, that will pass the test of time! To keep this rug in ship shape form, simply give it a quick vacuum in between washes. The non-slip rubber backing provides a firm, secure grip to any hard floor surface! Due to the slim, lightweight design of this rug, you can easily fold it up and store it away for future use. This gives you the freedom to swap out rugs, whenever you want. If you're anything like me and enjoy changing things up from time to time; than this is a great feature you'll find, very convenient! The only complaint that I have is that after unfolding the rug, I still haven't been successful at getting out all of the creases, after two weeks! 😬 I'm not sure how long it's going to take for it to lay perfectly flat on the floor? I think, it would've been better for the company to have rolled this product for shipping, rather than folding it. The only thing I haven't tried is washing it! Maybe this will solve the problem of getting the creases out, once and for all! With that said, I really do like this rug! So, this blue vintage rug is really soft, and the colors are a light cream / off-white with blues that are less intense than in the advertised photos at least on my rug. A lot nicer than I expected and better than another rug I reviewed as far as softness. But as soft as it is, the surface is a little slick. However, my toes love the feel under my feet, and it is fairly comfy to sit on even without a pad underneath. The rubber backing does hold this rug in place on my floor. I'm glad I chose to take a chance on this rug because it is a very nice addition to my home, and I shall be able to wash it if it does happen to get dirty. The rug also was folded neatly in a box when it arrived, thus the photos you see of my rug is from the first day with still a bit of wrinkle to it from those folds. A couple days later, the center fold has been the slowest to release but it is almost there. Overall, I think this is a very good rug. I didn't find any defects or poor stitching. I feel that this rug will last awhile because it has a little weight to it and doesn't feel cheap compared to other washable rugs. ... show more

I have several of these thin, washable rugs now and I like them. To be honest, I haven't had any of them long enough to speak on their durability but I really like them. They are enough to add color, separate areas of a room or sitting area, and soften the sounds in a room without being bulky and heavy. This rug came folded tightly in a box and the company adds instructions saying to roll the rug up to remove the creases that formed while packed in the box. I have done that, then I put it out in the sun so it would heat up. It's been a week and the folds are still there. It will probably relax after a while but my other rugs shipped in a roll and went straight on the floor without wrinkles or creases. This rug is the same level of quality but would be better for the consumer if it were shipped in a long roll. That is my only negative. I like the rug. ... show more

This is a very thin rug. I was hoping it would help dampen the echo in my house. I think I'll need a thicker rug to accomplish that. However, it is very pretty and feels soft on my feet. It is staying put pretty well. With my kids, rugs have a tendency to get pushed around the floor and end up cockeyed. This is frustrating and can be hazardous. This rug, on the other hand, has a grippy coating on the back that helps keep it in place on the floor. A huge plus in my book! ... show more

    • A really pretty rug but a little slick

The manufacturer calls this a low pile rug but I'd call it a no pile. It's made from a very short polyester material but not a weave and the rug is super soft. So soft that it feels slick and almost slippery. The back is super grippy and the rug itself never moved once we laid it down on our hardwood floor. The distressed look is nice and as another reviewer noted, there is much less blue on the rug than what shows in the pictures. It is very nice and definitely a keeper. The ability to throw it in the wash when it gets dirty is a plus as well ... show more

This is a super soft rug, that is not a weaved texture. That is my own doing for not reading any details. I like that it doesn't just slide around can be folded to be stored in smaller places, plus flexible enough to shove in the wash. So far, I have no complaints.
