This super soft, polypropylene vintage rug looks and feels like velvet! It has a distressed, vintage style look that adds warmth and character, making it a great addition to any room! If you're after a high pile rug, then this is NOT the rug for you! Its slimline design is great for high traffic areas such as main entrances, doorways, living rooms, bedrooms, laundry rooms or hallways. This low pile rug is also wonderful for putting into the washing machine, when it's time for a quick clean! This is one of its greatest features! I chose to use this rug in my craft room area, to provide some warmth and to protect the floors in this well used space! This easy to clean, spill and stain resistant rug also doesn't fade or shed. It appears to be made of good quality materials, that will pass the test of time! To keep this rug in ship shape form, simply give it a quick vacuum in between washes. The non-slip rubber backing provides a firm, secure grip to any hard floor surface! Due to the slim, lightweight design of this rug, you can easily fold it up and store it away for future use. This gives you the freedom to swap out rugs, whenever you want. If you're anything like me and enjoy changing things up from time to time; than this is a great feature you'll find, very convenient! The only complaint that I have is that after unfolding the rug, I still haven't been successful at getting out all of the creases, after two weeks! 😬 I'm not sure how long it's going to take for it to lay perfectly flat on the floor? I think, it would've been better for the company to have rolled this product for shipping, rather than folding it. The only thing I haven't tried is washing it! I love the idea of the new washable rugs on the market but they are sooo expensive! I saw this and loved the pattern so I wanted to try it! I have a bit of a zoo in my house so washable is super important! It did not disappoint!! I am in love!!! The creases from being folded during shipping were pretty much gone by the time I moved the table back info place. The colors are beautiful and from a distance it looks like a genuine oriental rug. It feels totally at home in my 1770 colonial! My kids keep saying how soft it is so it definitely passed the kid test! I’m so happy with it! ... show more

This is a good looking rug. The material is really soft on bare feet, but very thing with little cushioning. The pattern is nice, but the colors are light so expect it to show dirt easily. Rubber backing works to hold it in place. It does come folded up and not rolled, which left a bunch of creases in the material and not sure what it will take to make them go away. ... show more

This is a very thin rug, providing very little cushion for when you walk on it. If it fits the color palette of your room, this could be a nice addition. For us, we got this to go by our back door to catch any dirt coming in from outside. It vacuums eaily, but we haven't washed it yet so we can't speak to how 'washable' it is. ... show more

Rug is about 3/8” thick but soft underfoot and doesn’t slide on my ceramic tile floor. The rust brown color goes well with my color scheme and it looks like it will wash well and dry naturally as it is on the thinner side.
