This rug is really nice. It is soft, and it has a pretty design....but it is REALLY orange, and not really what I would call distressed. I don't mind the color because I tend to like bright things, but if you are thinking it is soft colors, it really isn't. Besides that, it's a nice rug. It flattens out pretty well, without all the edges curling up. It is soft and appears to be washable if you have a big enough machine. Great value for the money. ... show more

I was impressed by how soft this rug is! I opened it up to see if it would fit in my foyer and the dog immediately laid on it, it's almost like a faux fur softness. The pile is low, the rug isn't thick at all. This would actually be a great rug to protect your carpet in an apartment building to protect your security deposit! I got exactly what the color in the picture shows, it's really vivid and beautiful. Plus a new rug always sort of refreshes a room. I have no complaints at all, personally I need thicker rugs for my house because we have porcelain tile floors and in New England they get so cold so I like to have a thick rug to protect my feet, what I really like this rug for is an entryway because after a while you can just throw this into a washer. (One that can withstand a little weight or even a heavy duty laundromat one) my front load washer probably wouldn't agree with this rug and would have to rebalance forever. I think too I could layer this to get the thickness I want and that's probably what will end up happening! I think this is definitely worth the $70, it seems to be pretty durable, its exactly what the photo shows, would be easily washable, and is so incredibly soft. ... show more

I have only recently discovered these velvety soft rugs and am so happy with them. I enjoy sitting on the floor on occasion, whether I am reading, folding socks, sorting papers, etc, or even working out with a yoga mat. These rugs are so soft and comfortable that you really want to walk barefoot on them. I have another one the same size, but that one has longer fibers, so it is more on the plush side than this one. They are both just as thin - do keep in mind they are very thin, more like blankets. But since this one has shorter fibers, the pattern is way more intense and more defined, than any of the other plush rugs I own. The colors and the pattern are very vibrant, but they do look more grey than the photos on Amazon. Thanks to the color and pattern, I don't think it would get dirty as much as my other rugs. I did try to vacuum it and if you have a powerful vacuum, you should use it on a lower setting, as this is a very thin rug. It does stay in place and does not need a non-slip pad. It was on sale for $45 when I got it and I think it is well worth the price! ... show more
