So I’ve tried every import version of the peeling lip stain I can find. They usually are super dry and are in very small containers, so you only get like 5/6 uses. This one works wonderfully. Make sure you exfoliate and moisturize your lips regularly to avoid chapped spots and really put in on thick! Leave it on way longer than the directions say to see how deep the color *can* get, then adjust until you get what you want. Don’t waste $ on the spray! Cool water on a paper towel is just fine. It doesn’t peel, though, so just wipe it away. The formula is pretty wet, which is great for applying it thickly enough to work, but it does take forever to dry completely (necessary!)—I use a fan or hairdryer. Used Hayley and it ranges from a nice, neutral warm brown-red at 3-5 minutes on to a deep red with brown tones if I leave it on for 10+ minutes. Lasts all day and I need to use something with texture to fully remove it. Still waiting to see if there’s enough product to justify the price. If so, it’ll be totally worth trying other colors. ... show more

As a fan of lipstick on other people, I hate wearing it. I despise how it smudges, gets all weird in the corners of your mouth and I really don’t have the patience to re-apply. I was really nervous about the color (Charming). I wanted a natural pigment that looked almost like I had no lipstick on at all. Well, that’s exactly what I got. It’s a perfect chestnut reddish color. Application is tricky because it sets right away…be precise ! It wore through drinking and eating for several hours. I’m shocked! Best part is…you can wear balm over it and it doesn’t transfer AT ALL! It took a star away only because the setting spray tastes funny and it doesn’t peel off like advertised. It will leave your fingers pigmented as well. HOWEVER one may not even need the setting spray kit, as the lipstick alone works/stays fine. If you want more pigment…do another coat and save your money. Overall, I’d recommend. ... show more

I am enjoying this lip stain, put it on in the morning, gloss your lips during the day and it's still on at night, LOVE IT!!!. This color is just 2 light for me. It doesn't have enough pigment and the pigment that it does have doesn't look anything like the color that you are buying. I have the sweetheart color and I LOVE IT. I was a HUGE fan of L’Oreal infallible lipstick. It worked great and stayed on for hours. The only thing I didn’t like was that after a little while I would get that gross white film inside my lips from wearing the lipstick. This product doesn’t do that, and it LASTS! I added a photo of my lips before applying it, while it was on, immediately after and then 5 hours later. It was super easy to use and I did two applications. It lasted and didn’t smudge, fade or transfer even after drinking water! I absolutely love it and the color is beautiful. It didn’t make my lips feel dry at all, has a sweet smell and no taste. So that I could have a smooth application I exfoliated my lips with a sugar and honey scrub before trying it and it worked perfectly for me! I’m going to try other colors! ... show more

I have very thin lips and was looking for a lip stain that would make my lips a bit larger without using a lip liner. While this stain does a WONDERFUL job on my lips, it doesn't stain past the lipline to make my lips a bit larger. It works great and the color is pretty. Loved the color that stayed for hours. It doesn’t have any smell or taste. I did not enjoy having to wait for it to dry and then re apply if you had spots where it didn’t apply. But the overall effect is so nice. Good product because it doesn’t leave your lips dry afterwards. And if you need, you can apply balm after and it will not ruin the product ... show more

I love how lightweight this lip stain feels. I did find I needed to go over my lips with 2-3 coats of the stain to get good, even color. My stain lasts a full day, eating, drinking and applying balm/gloss over it. I'll be buying more colors!

Starts as a rich purple and sticky on the lips. Once scraped off after five minutes it looks like a berry. Only lasts a day but pretty nice. Put chapstick on top.
